Great inputs mommies @julietgeslani @annamariemomof3 @MommyAnne!

Applying Powder on babies should be made with caution. :)

Are there other myths out there about using baby powder aside from it causing asthma? Feel free to share it with us!

Hello Mommies! For tonight's #TanongNiMommy, we'd like to know your thoughts on using powder on your babies.

There are some who say that using powder may cause asthma, lung problems etc. Are you pro or anti powder? Have you consulted your pedia about the use of powder before actually using it on your baby?

Share your thoughts, reactions, or concerns! We'd love to hear your inputs (or maybe some research you have found online?)

for my newborn, i avoid putting powder cause they say it might cause asthma.

baby wipes is a must for us, be it for baby or me.  :)

Hi marie_c!
How about while giving your newborn a bath? which did you use, soap and shampoo or baby wash/baby bath?

I'd have to agree with baby wipes!  ;D

Baby Development and Milestones / Bath Products to Try

Good Afternoon Mommies!

What are the bath products that should be part of your baby's bath time? Why do you like them? How are they effective?

Are you more of a Shampoo/Soap type or Baby Wash type?

Baby Development and Milestones / Re: How to handle a newborn when bathing
« on: September 04, 2014, 06:14:02 pm »
The key thing for me is the temp of the water. Needs to be just right because sensitive ang skin ng baby, too hot or too cold will hurt/upset her. Make sure also you have everything you need at arm's length: washcloth, baby wash, towel.

I'd have to agree with what you said! :) do you also use your elbows to check if the bath water is just right? i heard this technique is being passed down from one generation to the next as the best way to check the water's temp. :)
unless, there's a new and better way to check if the water's just right for baby.

great tips trueblue14!

keep posting more tips or even stories mommies! :)

Hello Mommies!

Share your bath stories and tips on how to handle your newborn when giving him/her a bath here. Soon to be mommies, feel free to post your questions!

Here's a tip:
1. for newborns, make sure to gently support their necks!
2. to avoid startling your baby, gently pour the water, either on their head or on their body.
3. water shouldn't be too hot or too cold.

Share your own tips or stories!
