Preschooler Age / First time in big school
« on: June 21, 2013, 06:09:11 pm »
My daughter at 5 is enrolled in a big school. She's in Kinder, next year Grade 1 na. It's her first time in a big school and I am so worried sick about what is happening with her.  Kampante naman ako sa big school na napili ko pero parang naiba reactions ko. 2nd day, my daughter cried and I was asking the teacher what happened...deadma lang ba.  Today her 5th day, she slipped in the toilet.  The teacher did not even bother to tell me the incident when I fetch her.  There was no excitement in my daughter's story...basta lang daw pinatutulog sila tapos pinapatay daw yun ilaw.  I don't like to mention the school but its an exclusive school near our place.

Share naman your experience and what did you do....

Please recommend pedia derma and pedia endo.  Please indicate which hospital, contact numbers (if possible) and your experience with the doctor.

Your Kid's Health and Safety / Circumcision
« on: April 03, 2013, 02:33:42 pm »
I am planning this summer to have my 11yo son circumcised.  Any recommendation, suggestion and advise, please let me know ASAP.  Any idea on how much will this procedure cost and is there any other procedure like laser na hindi na kami makaka experience ng traditional system na nilalanggas sa dahon ng bayabas, etc.

Home / Detergent Soap use for washing clothes
« on: January 03, 2013, 09:33:42 am »
I am a tide and ariel user (mixed).  Napapansin ko lang kasi na sa white clothes yun colar (hindi naman lahat, piling shirt lang) naninilaw kahit anong babad pa ang gawin ko, maybe its the soap I'm using.  Share naman kung anong maganda panglabang sabon and your experience na din.  Thanks.

NOTE:  Washing machine pala gamit ko sa paglalaba.

Party Planning: Birthdays and Baptism / Unique Party Venues
« on: July 09, 2012, 11:38:43 pm »
Parties can be done in a different twist.  It doesn't have to be too loud (with the magicians, hosts, games, etc.) all the time.  Sometimes, gathering in a small place can be fun and will create such memories to your guests....even the entertainment side - storytelling is nice, arts & crafts too.
I have seen parties (of my friends) that were held in the following venues.  Try to search for more details and also share if you know other unique party venues.

Felicity Patisserie

Cupcakes by Sonja

Active Fun, Bonifacio High Street
A perfect place for kids.  There's a game area for kids 12 & above.

Ace Water Spa, Del Monte
You can reserve a restaurant near the Spa (probably have lunch or dinner first) then your guests can swim for 4 hours (until 11pm) at Ace Water Spa.

Centris Walk
Restaurants around the area.  Lazer Maxx, Train & Carousel, Walk in Water, Bump Car & Wowowheels

Every month na lang may UTI daughter ko.  Signs: fever, vomiting, diahhrea and loss appetite.
