Inspiration / What I learned today
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:05:02 pm »
Isn’t it a great way to know someone else’s learnings today and if you’re down today, may help you overcome it?

Hmmm… What I learned today…

Yaya and mommy relationship should have limits. I tend to trust a yaya easily and make her feel like a family. But for the second time, I was abused "again" (different yayas). I learned to draw the line next time. Sad but true but definitely will make me a stronger mommy/employer soon!

my two yayas left. for some valid reasons.

i have extracted all those in our family trees and friends who may refer someone they know but ended up still seeking. i am running out of options... my question now, are yayas from agency/ies okay?

i have talked to several agencies already, interviewed some yaya applicants. their rates are somehow higher than those direct from the provinces (least of my concern though). they have clearances, yes. from barangay to police upto nbi clearances. they also were background-checked (not sure how reliable this process is). i have searched from poea the agencies i have talked to, okay naman.

but the only thing i am concerned of, are they well trained?

i am to hire one tonight. hope she turns out okay. agencies naman are willing to replace them thrice in the span of 6 months. kaya lang, risking our household, most of all, my daughter's safety and welfare... hmm.. thinking parin ako. maybe i just have to choose well and wisely. hmm.. we'll never know until we live with them right? parang asawa lang. hehe

are there mommies here who hired yayas from agencies? how are they?

Getting Pregnant / How did you tell him he's already a daddy?
« on: October 07, 2008, 12:47:09 am »
mommies... share on how did your husband/partner know he already is a father?  :o

samin, no big reactions or whatever. no special frills.. hehe

we underwent ovulation process kase eh,so most likely when i went to see my ob after a month of ovulation, subconsciously, i already was thinking na pwedeng meron na or pwedeng wala pa. i was open to those possibilities. when they declared that i am positive, i immediately texted hubby (who was on his way to the hospital-dun kase kami magkikita). i preferred not calling him kase nga he'll distinguish the tone of my happy voice. hehe so i texted him full of smileys...with the word 'daddy' inserted in those smileys. then he texted back.. 'yey! daddy nako!'

when he arrived hospital, he interviewed my doctor..asking on how to take extra care of me & the baby in my womb, etc. super excited sya. he then invited me for dinner coz it called for a celebration.

he never missed an appointment..parati niya ko sinasamahan sa mga checkups ko. he's a hands on daddy. even until now with anne keir.  :)

by the way, we already are married for three months when i conceived. we were hoping for a honeymoon baby kaso i have PCOs kaya mahirap talaga magbuntis. we tried our luck though pero hindi nga kami makabuo so we asked medical help na that time. and it worked..one shot lang ang ovulation process.  ;) super thankful kami kay God.
