Party Planning: Birthdays and Baptism / September 2013 Babies
« on: September 15, 2013, 02:16:49 pm »
Galing ako sa trend ng September 2013 Due Date and sobrang nag-enjoy ako kasi nakakatuwa yung mga Mommies na nag-share ng mga experiences and nagbibigay ng mga payo and support :). Parang you do not need to go to another trend pa kasi nandun na lahat ng dapat mong malaman kasi bawat Mommy, may mga piece of advice talaga :)

So, how are you mga Mommy? Kumusta ang pagiging Mommy (ulit)?

Gave birth last September 05 to a healthy baby girl via NSD :). Pangalawa ko siya and her name is Elijah.

Well, okay naman sakin yung 2.

Right now, Prokids Diaper ang gamit ko pero after a month, mag cloth diaper ako, Bamboo Dappy, I bought it at Baby Co. sa SM.

Share your experiences naman po :)

Labor and Child Birth / Sedation or Epidural Anesthesia
« on: July 25, 2013, 09:44:23 am »
Hello Mommies!

I'm going 8 months this August, binigyan ako ng option ng OB ko- Sedation or Epidural. Sa sedation, groggy ka at walang mararamdaman, depende daw sa tolerance ng tao kung gising ka o baka makatulog ka on the time of delivery. I have used epidural nun sa first born ko.

By the way, mas mahal pala ang epidural kesa sedation kasi kailangan talaga ng anesthesiologist during the procedure.

Getting Pregnant / Anti-Tetanus Injection at 7 months
« on: July 25, 2013, 08:49:57 am »
Magandang Araw Mommies!

Alam ko usually, after 5 months nagpapa anti-tetanus injection sa center (free) but for "I do not know" - reason, hindi ko nagawa ang task na yan. Sabi naman ng OB, wala naman daw masama pero I want to ask if there are moms out there na nagpa bakuna at 7 (or 8 months). Okay lang naman un di ba?

Thank you!

Mga Desk Na Parang Truck

Magandang Araw Mommies!

I do not know exactly how many of us enrolled our baby(ies) in St. Edward. I just want to share my thoughts and hopefully you can share yours too.

My Big Girl belongs to Kinder 2. During the orientation last June 10, only 19 students were listed in their board for their section. Masaya kasi at least matututukan ang bata since there is a teacher aid pa na tinatawag sa class. Based on the Parent's Interview after my baby passed the exam, the Dr. John (the former principal) told us that teacher-student ratio is 1:10 (or 1:15) and we were so surprised na last Monday, 27 na sila sa class... For me, napakarami nila sa isang class although my teacher aid pa rin naman. I talked to the Principal this morning and told her our concern. Then, I found out na marami raw kasi ang nagpalipat from afternoon shift to morning which is obviously true kasi nga, in the afternoon class, parang 19-20 lang talaga ang mga students. I guess, its unfair naman sa mga maagang nag-enrol. I know naman na hindi lahat, magkakapera ng maaga para sa pang-tuition, ganun din naman kami pero I make it sure na isantabi muna ang gastusing iba para mai-enrol ko lang ang anak ko ng maaga para nga maging morning shift sya kasi for me, mas maganda sa bata ang mas maaga sa school especially kung starting pa lang sya.

According to my child, may classmate rin sya na hindi marunong mag-Tagalog and mag-English. Japanese. Sabi ko nga, 2 lang ang kalalabasan nyan, yung Japanese student lang ang mas matututukan which is understandable naman kasi kailangan ng more guidance at medjo mapapabayaan ang ibang mga bata or hindi gaano mapapansin ang Japanese kid.

Nag-note naman ang Principal so I guess, she will raise the issue sa mga concern people... sana nga. This Monday, I'll talk to other parents and ask them kung nakipag-usap na rin ba sila sa Principal kasi un din talaga ang reklamo nila.

Another one is yung parking... ang gulo.

Kinder 2 is not allowed to buy food outside during break time kaya okay lang pero yung canteen ng school nasa covered court pa lang but I guess, inaayos na nila yung bagong place to eat sa new building nila.

Mommies and Daddies, kayo po, ano pong experience nyo so far sa St. Edward?

Maternity / Things You Miss Doing
« on: June 18, 2013, 03:08:27 pm »
Magandang Araw Mga Mommies!

At almost 6 months of being pregnant, I know na most Mommies, halu-halo na ang iniisip, halu-halong emotions ang nararamdaman like kaba at takot especially sa mg first-time moms, excitement, happiness, budget sa panganganak, final name/s of your baby, different body aches etc etc etc. Wala lang, naiisip ko lang while witnessing a grand opening of a salon near our village, may mga models kasing invited wearing their stilettos and bigla kong na-miss ang mga de-takong kong sapatos. Back then kasi, I love wearing those lisensyadong sapatos :). I love shoes and not just shoes, as in yung mga may makikitid na takong… hehe. But of course, I cannot wear those shoes as of the moment :).

Kayo Mommies, ano yung mga nami-miss nyong gawin o bagay ngayon na for sure, after a few weeks or months of delivery, eh for sure, gagawin nyo agad-agad :).

Mod's note:

Home / Semento sa Bathroom Tiles
« on: May 28, 2013, 02:30:53 pm »
Hello Mommies!

Please help... Thank you!

Hello Mommies!

We are new here in Imus and one of the accredited hospital of Intellicare is DLSU Medical Centre, before sa St. Luke's kami madalas and I guess, one of the best hospitals here in Cavite is UMC. Please help me to find a good pedia, yung mabait at hindi naman mahal maningil, although my health card kami pero of course, we want pa rin yung maalaga at hindi lang basta nagrereseta ng gamot/vitamins  :)

Thanks in advance :)
