Hi Sheila,

Beauty and Product Reviews / Reverse Hair Washing, have you tried it?
« on: August 18, 2015, 02:30:52 pm »
Hi SP Moms!

I've read an article about it and was curious to give it a try because feedback say your hair will look better. I have colored full(dense), frizzy, wavy, thin strands of hair and I want it to look healthy despite treatments done. With traditional washing, it's still dry and frizzy. So anyway if you want to try it here's how:

1) Make sure that you hair is fully saturated with water before you apply your conditioner. If you hair isn't totally soaked with water, it's going to be difficult for you to distribute your conditioner throughout your hair from root to tip.

2) After you apply your conditioner, leave it in for the regular amount of time that you would normally use.

3) When it's time to rinse, DON'T RINSE. This is the fatal error that many first-timers make. If you rinse your conditioner out and THEN apply shampoo, you're very likely going to end up with dry, brittle, tangled hair. Use your shampoo to remove your conditioner. Here's what I do: after my conditioner has been in my hair for several minutes, I quickly tilt my head in and out of the stream of my shower and get it a tiny bit more wet. Then, I apply my shampoo. I use about 25% less shampoo than I would use if I wasn't doing a Reverse Wash, because I don't want to strip my hair of all the conditioner. After I apply my shampoo, I lather and rinse as usual and...that's it!

here's the link http://nouveaucheap.blogspot.com/2014/09/what-is-reverse-hair-washing-and-is-it.html

They say it works wonders than traditional washing so i'll try this tomorrow and provide feedback!  ;D

Back in high school, I was the first to get home and my usual routine is to slouch in the couch and watch TV still in my uniform. Around 7pm, I heard someone open the gate and I immediately thought it was my dad because of the distinct sounds of crutches(he's using one) while he was walking towards the door. Our dog who was sleeping behind the door(he was inside where I can see him) immediately woke up and became very excited, cried and wagged his tail in anticipation of my dad entering the house. I usually go out and greet my dad all the time, but at that time I felt veerrrry lazy to get up from my relaxed position. So I decided to wait for him to get in. I then heard my dad unwind the stainless steel chains(the kind that's thick and heavy) of our dirty kitchen(located outside) to unlock it. Then after several minutes, our dog went back to sleep, apparently tired of waiting since my dad took forever in the dirty kitchen. Minutes later, I heard the gate open once more and it sounded like my dad again like it was deja vu. The same thing happened- our dog got excited, chains were dragged and unlocked. I got curious and got up to check on him. What I saw was my dad looking like he just arrived. So I asked if he arrived earlier and stepped out to which he said he just came in.

Sino kaya makikita ko kung sinalubong ko yung unang dumating?  :o

When I got pregnant for the 2nd time, we didn't want to announce it yet. Then one night while I was sleeping with my firstborn, I was awakened by scraping sounds from the roof. It was around 10pm. I took my baby and stepped out of the room to find my husband, MIL, and kasambahay looking up to where the sound came from. Then MIL asked, "are you pregnant?" Bistado tuloy!
