Yaya Solutions / Re: Young or old yaya?
« on: October 09, 2012, 12:08:28 pm »
Before I had my babies, advice din sa kin ng friends ko to get a young yaya kasi mas madaling turuan at i-train.  Yung iba daw kasing older yayas, mas madami nang experience so mas madalas magmarunong.  In my experience, having gone thru almost 7 sets of yayas in a years time... itong mga latest yayas ko na both oldies - 39 and 52 y/o ako nakampante.

They'd rather text, sleep and watch TV. I don't know kung bakit pa sila namasukang yaya.  I guess they thought it would be just like taking care of their little brothers or sisters.  Syempre iba..

Yaya Solutions / Re: Yaya Salary/Compensation/Benefits

@ Morefun - Kami sis medyo a little old na din mga yaya ng twins ko - 39 ad 52 mga ages nila. I didn't know na pwede papala ang 3k sa Manila for a yaya! Hayy ang taas yata ng pasweldo kong 3500 each for my yayas.  We're her in Cebu. SAHM pa ako tapos I also have a cleaning lady who cleans the house and washes the clothes.  Oh well, sige na lang, basta magtagal. Ang hirap kasi talaga pala humanap ng maayos and matinong yaya.

My 1 year old boys

Hi sis! Pa join lang.  I think starting 15 months, on the average, once a day na lang matulog si baby.  Preferably after lunch.  Maybe you'd like to try and get rid of the morning nap already. Tama si si lykiel, pagurin mo na lang muna and as much as possible make your schedule with them very routinary para they'll know what to expect.  Babies daw kasi thrive on routine.  My 1 year old twins sched : Sleep between 8-:830pm, wake up bet 6-6:30am.  Nap at 10-11:30am then 2-4pm ulit. Ganyan sila everyday.  The more na di ko patulugin sa araw, mas pangit tulog nila sa gabi.  I guess it's because they're overtired already.

Your Kid's Health and Safety / Re: dogs and baby
« on: September 29, 2012, 05:23:55 pm »
Update lang ako,  I posted here whilst still pregnant with my boys. They are now a year old and our goldens are still living with us inside the house.  Although a few months before I gave birth naman talaga, hindi na namin sila pinapatulog sa kwarto in preparation for the coming of my babies.  36 weeks lang mga babies ko and only weighed 5.2 and 5.3lbs ( as expected with twins) pero they have been very healthy despite having the dogs still inside the house.

3:30 in the morning yun.

My twins are turning 1 next month and since birth nila, nakaka pito na yata ako akong yaya or more! Their salaries are 3,500 each.   I'm a SAHM so ako din halos lahat nag aasikaso sa mga needs ng babies ko.  They just need to play with my babies.  May iba pa akong taga laba and taga linis ng house na stay out.  I give her naman 1,400. :-)

My twins' birth weight =  2.4 and 2.5 kgs
At 2.5 months            =  5.3 and 5.4 kgs
3 months                   =  5.8 and 5.9 kgs
4 months                   =  6.4 and 6.7 kgs
4.5 months                =  7.2 and 7.3 kgs
5 months                   =  7.6 and 8 kgs
7 months                   =  9 and 9.3 kgs
9 months                   =  9.7 and 10 kgs
11 months                 =  11.3 and 12.3 kgs

Thanks to PreNan, nakahabol weight ng twins ko kahit preemies sila born on the 36th week.  I shifted to Nan Pro na. Mga heavyweight na! :-)
