At home, we feed my son when he is watching cartoons.  Nagkataon na meal time yung fave cartoons niya so we take of advantage of it.   Yes, bad habit nga siguro and there are some articles that discourage this practice but it works for us. Maspinili namin eto keysa hindi sya kumain.  But when we eat / dine out whether at a fancy resto or a fastfood joint, wala syang toy or other distraction pero kumakain naman.   If maagapan nyo, I wont encourage this practice (watching tv and eating).  Better pa rin to eat at the dining table.

Dati rin hirap syang pakainin, it took us a few months to improve on this. Trial and error din. Kahit anong ulam namin, we try to feed it to him. Now he can eat afritada, adobo, sinigang, tinola, sweet and sour fish, lumpia, siomai, etc. Even fresh lettuce, sinasama ko kahit fried chicken or hotdog ang ulam.  And pag ayaw talga nyang kumain or hindi maubos ang food, hinahayaan namin. Pilitin once or twice but if talgang ayaw, then stop eating na. This way, hindi sya traumatized sa pagkain.   We also try to vary the food/ulam that we offer in a day. Pedeng ulam niya yesterday lunch, maging ulam niya for dinner today. But not same ulam for lunch and dinner that day.  And then sometimes, we have pancakes, pandesal or cereals for breakfast para hindi magsawa sa rice.

He can finish more than 1/2 cup of rice during mealtimes.  And he likes fruits.  Sometimes he asks for orange, grapes, mango. But I also let him eat chips, chocolates, cakes, donuts, etc. for snacks but not on a daily basis.

Buti niklaro niya na hindi P2,000 and P1,600 per person kasi sobrang mahal yun, approx P16k for tour only.

^luk_resha, below are the costs.

countryside tour for 3 people - 2,000
seatour - 1,600 + 1,000 for resort transfer to/from dock + 200 per pax for banca to marine sanctuary and snorkeling gears. the boats are either docked at alona beach or danao so we had to pay for resort transfer of P500 one way.  We chose to get the resort vehicle rather than get a tricycle na cheaper sana.

Now ko lang narealize na yung package ni sis ilove323 of 1,800 for seatour included snorkeling gears already. So when you check for prices, ask mo na rin yung about banca, snorkeling gears, etc.

hope nagenjoy kids ni @gablijo sa bellevue. :)

@luk_resha, Naldix 09173241511.  But there are other popular tour guides mentioned here that you may want to contact as well. Baka better if a bigger group would get his services.  You may want to insist na sya magdrive sa inyo.

^Mommy France, yes ang ganda sa Bellevue.  Great facilities, accommodation and service.  But isa pa lang restaurant nila ha. We enjoyed the pool.  As in we spent most of our day there. hehe.  May bantay/lifeguard (I assume) so relatively safe magswimming. 2 ft/4ft ang pool. Connected yung dalwa but meron harang na tali.  Ang beach area hindi namin gano nagustuhan.  Lowtide and daming sea plants.

Sayang. Next time na uli ako magkwento.

^Yes sis. I'll check with naldix when I contact him.  Thanks.

^^sis ilove323, pati ba sa dolphin watching/island tour puwede ang 3 yrs old?  May life vest ba na iprovide sa bata? We are 2 adults and 1 toddler travelling to bohol.

^^sis momeekai, from what I remember, smart explorers have weekday classes only.  And since you want to be there with your son during his play & learn classes (ako rin ganito dati - hehe), better option sayo ang mga nasa mall because they have more classes during weekends.  And at least makikita mo ang anak mo perform various activities.  Cute sila tingnan at that age. hehe

Hindi naman nagkakalayo ang rate ng Smart Explorers sa Kindermusik (but Kindermusik has been existing for a few years na).  And hindi rin gaano convenient puntahan ang SmartExp from Palanan on a weekday.  This is if you prefer walking distance or accessible by one short ride public transpo.

My son is 3 yrs old.  We also used sansfluo before and now colgate for kids (bubblegum flavor).  When we went to a dentist, she recommended to use the regular toothpaste with flouride bec my son is still drinking milk at least 6 times a day. Acidic daw milk so flouride will help. Since hindi pa ubos yung colgate bubblegum, I sometimes alternate.  Sayang eh! :)

She also recommended to put tooth mousse as added protection. She can see brown spots na on my son's teeth because of milk.

Try Smart Explorers (G/F Libran House Legazpi St. Corner Rufino), they have toddler classes (one hour includes storytelling and playtime).  They offer free trial class so you can see before you decide.  I only attended the trial but didnt push thru with enrollment.

I'm not sure where exactly in Makati you want but in Legazpi Village, they were the most reasonable I found with the best facilities (clean, new, etc).

Mga sis, may feedback na ba about St. John Fisher School molino?  Eto kasi nearest samin. I check this thread from time to time pero parang wala talga akong mabasa about this school.

my hubby was inside the delivery room when i gave birth. Pero sa tabi ko lang. Ayokong makita nyang lalabas si baby. Masyado akong conscious! Even my OBgyne, hindi rin sya pinasilip. hehe. :)
