Birth Control / Re: New to pills. Post your questions here.
« on: October 26, 2011, 04:02:27 pm »
hi Apple0ftheEye,

Kung first time ka lang gumamit ng pills, it is possible na madelay nito ang period mo. Having little or no period at all is a common side effect of any type of hormonal contraceptive. Having more than the usual amount of period or spottings are also normal. All side effects should go away after 2-3 of months of use ng pills. Another factor is, you might also be stressing yourself too much worrying kung dadating nga ang dalaw mo o hindi kaya lalo siyang nadedelay. Provided na hindi ka nagmiss ng isang tablet and all of them are taken almost at the same time everyday, it should work.

Regarding your question kung madodoble ba ang times na nagkaroon ka for this month? yes that could  happen. pero sa susunod na pack of pills, magnonormalize na siya. i-cocontrol kasi muna ng pills yung sistema mo.

Sana nasagot po tanong mo :)

The In-Laws / Re: Share your bitchy moments with your IL's
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:23:10 pm »
this happened about a month ago. FIL came home from Qatar because his Dad (hubby's lolo) passed away. MIL, despite the fact na "hiwalay" na ang setup nila appeared at the wake trying to settle things with FIL.to cut the long story short, nagkabati sina ILs.so playing nice si MIL.FIL then asked my hubby to bring all his pasalubong out so he can divide it EQUALLY kina MIL and my SILs at saka sa aming mag-anak. While dividing the chocolates MIL suddenly said "ay ayoko niyang isang yan" sabay tapon ng isang pack ng choco-peanut butter cups sa side namin at KINUHA yung plain milk choco bars na fave ni hubby right in front of me. FIL told her "e di yan ang ipamigay mo sa mga pamangkin mo dun" pero parang batang nakipagpilitan si MIL. I am no chocolate person, but the fact that she acted like a 7 year old girl arguing which chocolate brand and type should she get is very irritating. How immature para makipagkumpetensya pa sya sa anak niya (na asawa ko) to get it. Sa pikon ko I told them "ok lang po Pa, sige Ma, iuwi mo na yang lahat ng chocolate na yan. Nobody wants sweets in this house anyway". Tapos si FIL na yung nahiya at sya nagdecide kung ano lang ang dapat makuha ni MIL. Found out that next day away sila ulit. Immaturity kills!

hi i'm planning to switch to pills, ano kaya magandang brand? exclusive breastfeed kasi si baby, i'm on Depotrust now, sa Nov 7 na expiry niya... any suggestions po? di na kasi ako comfortable sa mens ko lagi spotting, bihira mawala...

switching from depot jabs to pills is quite easy. you can start taking the pill on the same day your jab expires. However, in you case, since sabi mo breastfeeding ka, you have to consult an OB or health care officer dahil ibang klase ng pills ang nirereseta sa mga nagnanurse ng baby. this is because certain type or brand of pills can supress your milk supply which can affect your baby's milk consumption.

I hope i've helped :)

I remember reading the bible on one of my stressful days of my life. pero since nasa BPO industry ako at talamak ang stress dun, naging daily routine ko na ang maghanap sa net ng mga quotes na mababasa. Reading is a very nice way para mawala ang stress...pwede ding magshopping sa mga tianggean, makipagkwentuhan sa mga kaibigan (In person ha kasi mas nakakastress sa text or online). massage! :)

Birth Control / Re: Depotrust

^ i think, like any other type of contraceptive naman ay mangyayari yang ganyang senaryo lalo at waang sapat na kaalaman ang gagamit nito. That is why it is better to consult with an OB or a health care specialist before starting any kind of contraceptive method.

depo shots are effective when injected during a woman's 1st-4th day of menstruation. However, ang matagal na pagamit nito ay hindi nakakaganda sa ating mga buto maaari din nitong maapektuhan ang pagbalik ng fertility at nakakasira din ng katawan ng mga babae.

Hi. San ba dapat inject ang depotrust?

Sa arm or sa butt?

depende kung san makita ng magiinject sa iyo yung mas effective way para maabsorb ng katawan mo yung gamot. muscle kasi ang tinitingnan (or kinakapa) dun. yung iba kasi medyo makapal yung muscle sa butt kaya sa arm na lang iniinject or vice versa. both are valid path for the depo jab to work.  ;)

hi mga mommies, ask lang kung pwede ko ba isabay ang pills sa slimming coffee? nagsslimming  coffee  kase ako ngayon eh .. ayun. sana magreply  po asap , thankyou :)

as long as the slimming coffee only suppresses your appetite and not make you "go to the johns" every now and then, then that's fine. I am also on pill and on slimming coffee at the same time.

Wala na. Na-try na namin kagabi. So bahala na. Hahaha.

Question: I feel nauseous. Sumuka nako twice. What do I do? I called my OB sabi niya depotrust is not going to make me nauseous daw. Eh bakit ganito?

I wonder why your OB would say it will not make you nauseous. it will. as a matter of fact, any type of hormonal contraceptive will give you the same preggy-like symptoms. But that should be normal and tolerable and should go away after 2-3 months.

If you are injected with depotrust, yan ba yung green ang box? dapat good for 3 months yan.

@mommy ash, nervousness is a usual side effect. pero kung sobra (with matching palpitations and malamig na pawis) better change your birth control form. yung tuloy tuloy mong pagdurugo ay hindi din maganda lalo at malakas siya. please go see your OB para maresetahan ka ng gamot pangontra sa excessive bleeding mo
