@reignaudrei: cute ng carebears theme sis. another theme i would suggest pag binyag is precious moments. sooo cute.  we didnt have a theme for chloe's baptism but we just had everything in pink and yellow. cute din naman ng outcome hehe.

anmum vanilla. feeling ko kasi mas nakatipid ako than the choco variety coz u need an extra scoop to make a glass of anmum choco kesa sa vanilla. i place water and powder in a tumbler then shake it well. medyo mahirap kasi sya i-dissolve. i've always liked chilled milk even before i was pregnant so it wasnt a problem for me.

yes, i would advise na wag bumili ng maraming damit coz mabilis talaga silang lumaki.  hope this helps.

@mommy dalin: di nakakaputi sis. nivea baby lotion yung gamit namin.

si chloe 3 mos nung nabinyagan... sabi kasi ng lola niya better na mabinyagan ng maaga coz di pwede mag travel or something pag wala pang binyag,.. but i see some moms na sinasabay ang binyag sa 1st birthday... so depende na rin siguro sa parents kung kelan nila gusto pabinyagan...

i've been breastfeeding for 1 yr and 10 mos -- and still counting. i'll stop only when my baby decides to stop. or kung wala na talaga akong milk, whichever comes first.

@susannuts -- dont mind them na lang sis. the people who make comments like those are the ones who, sad to say, dont have a clue on breastfeeding...

in my experience, di ko pinagamit ng pacifier ang baby ko kasi pag naka pacifier daw humihina ang pag dede ng milk coz feeling ni baby busog na sya pag naka pacifier. aside from that, pansin ko din sa mga nagpa- pacifier eh medyo iba ang tubo ng front teeth hehe conscious kasi ako sa teeth niya...

hi mommy! wow, super complete ang checklist mo! here's my POV:

for infant shirts, i would suggest not buying too many of the tie-side shirts, specially the small ones coz u wouldnt know how big/small baby is until he/she is finally out. believe me, they easily outgrow these tie-side shirts. the same goes for the 3-6 mos clothes. also, it is more convenient to have instead of the "tie" shirts are the ones with snap buttons coz they're easier to put on. in my experience, ayaw ni baby mag suot ng frogsuits/long sleeves shirts and pajamas. so sayang lang yung nabili ko. (buti na lang konti lang yon hehe). same with receiving blankets. i think 3 will do.

bonnets and booties, di nagamit coz my baby didnt like it. instead of booties, she wore socks. madali lang kasi matanggal ang booties. bibs come in useful by the time she was about 4-5 months, when mega laway na sya coz of teething.

nail cutter is very important coz u need to trim about twice a week. u also need cotton buds for cleaning the pusod and ears. baby cream, diaper rash powder, and bactroban, i think you need to consult your pedia first coz it might be too strong for baby's skin. anyway, prevention is better than cure so just make sure that baby is dry at all times to prevent diaper rash. wash and pat dry when changing nappies. disposable diapers, try 1 small pack first then if ok kay baby, thats when you buy more of it. coz u dont know if hiyang sya with that brand or not. also, you're not sure of the size. like yung baby ng officemate ko, he was about 9 lbs at birth, di kasya ang NB size.. hehe.

for feeding bottles, you wouldnt be using the 9-oz ones till baby is older. its not advisable to use the big bottles if 4oz or less lang ang intake ni baby coz milk then flows faster and might cause choking and more gas (kabag).
