hi sis yanyan!

meron kasing mga questions from devped na di mo talaga masasagot coz your kid is still young (particularly her skills). pinadalhan ako ng questionnaire nun but yun nga ang suggestion ng doctor. lets wait till he turns 2 kasi napraning din ako nun. walang findings nung 2yo sya... pero pinagtetherapy na namin.nagkaron lang ng findings nung almost 3 na sya. autism spectrum disorder. pero hindi sya nacategorize e. nung pagtungtong niya ng 3yo, bigla ding nagbago yung skills niya. nagrerespond na sya sa mga activities sa therapy center kaya tumaas lalo yung hope ko.... now that he just turned 5, naka mainstream na sya sa regular class with a shadow teacher.

malaki ang magiging role mo sis sa development niya. sa ngayon, be a "therapist" to your daughter. wag mong tignan yung "not responding to her name" lang... coz isa lang yan sa napakadaming signs ng autism kaya need not be praning  ;) play & talk to your kid - its the best therapy for you & your daughter.... godbless sis!

you still have ... maybe 3months ... to reveal her skills sis without the help of tv or tablet.  kasi usually, 2yrs old dinadala sa dev pedia kung sakaling may naoobserve kang kakaiba... maraming signs ang autism sis but you need not compare her development to other kids kasi iba iba sila...

nung 18-20mos below yung 3rd kid ko, everything was flowing perfectly. nakakanta na nga sya ng mga nursery rhymes. but merong isang araw na biglang parang nag-snap and biglang nagiba yung mundong ginagalawan niya. of course, im in denial but hubby observed na parang hindi niya naririnig pangalan niya twing tatawagin sya. that was the first sign na di ako aware... then the linear thing follows, flapping, not paying attention... nung una, walang diagnosis sa kanya nung dinala namin sa dev ped coz he was too young. actually sis, humingi muna ko ng opinion sa pedia nila before consulting a devped.di ko kasi alam kung ano gagawin. then yun na, tuloy tuloy therapy... and we joined his journey  ;)

hi sis yanyan!

iwasan mo na lang yung madalas sa tv and tablet... mas maganda yung basahan mo na lang si baby ng books para makareact din sya. sabi ni doc, pop-up books for toddlers are still effective. makukuha mo pa rin attention nila habang nagbabasa ka. not boring  ::) malakas kasi talaga humugot ng attention ang tv & tablet kaya ako, binigyan ko ng time ang panunuod nila at paglalaro ng tablet coz my 1st 2 kids, hirap na tawagin... tho medyo hirap mag isip ng fun activities for kids pero mas masaya yun sis!

hi sis mamacyd!

im also worried for my 6yo niece's milk teeth. nasa harap pa naman. tumubo na kasi yung mga permanent teeth niya but yung 2 milk teeth niya sa harap e nasa ibabaw ng permanent teeth niya. medyo decaying pa naman pero sabi ni hipag nung dinala nila sa dentist, ok lang daw na hindi na bunutin. baka daw matrauma pa yung bata. since milk teeth, kusa naman daw mataanggal.  :o

yung room namin sa cherrys sis, P1,450/night lang but if you want with window, P1,650 daw :D 200 pesos ang bayad mo sa liwanag :) hehe

free breakfast nila is what they call continental breakfast... includes wheat bread, 2 eggs with butter & marmalade. ur choice of coffee, tea or juice. kami kasi nag pa ugrade ng breakfast into filipino and the british chiva. nadd lang kami ng 80 pesos for the filipino and 120 (ata) for the british style breakfast :)

how many nights kayo sis?
tip ko lang sa rooms - laging ilock. wala kasing double lock mga rooms nila e. the water in cherrys - maalat :) pang shower & pang toothbrush..  and dont forget mosquito repellant ;)

hi sisses!

had our bohol adventure last week and it was fun! we had
 (1) panglao tour (national museum, bayoyoy the dwarf, panglao church, hinagdanan cave, lunch at bohol bee farm etc) ,
(2) country side tour (tarsier, chocolate hills, phyton, blood compact, hanging bridge, lunch at loboc river, etc)
(3) sea tour (dolphin & whale watching, snorkeling)
for me, the best was the sea tour but we were not able to enjoy it to the fullest coz twas raining so hard. sayang tuloy. di kami nakapag island hopping. pero lahat ng tour was fun.
we hired kuya naldix as suggested by many moms here and he is recommendable nga saka palaging nakasmile parang ilonggo :D sa cherrys home kami nakabillet coz the one i booked was quite far pala sa beach. cherrys is ok especially kung di kayo magsstay the whole day sa room naman. with free breakfast. it was kuya naldix who suggested the cherrys home too. thanks to him :) marunong din sya magpicture ng magandang anggulo :D madami ding malalapit sa beach na rooms for rent dun but nakalimutan kong kunin mga rates... the alona beach was not good for swimming. daming sea urchins e. daming foreigners din. its as if you are the foreigner na :) madaming resto dun. but i like the ALONA HIDDEN DREAM resto. dun lang ako nabubusog e :) but be ready lang mga sis for drinking water. lahat ng establishments dun, walang free/service water. you have to buy mineral water for 30 pesos (500ml ata. not sure) kaya what we did is buy a gallon of water na lang and put it in the ref. kasi usually, we order for a juice or softdrinks + water lagi... (nagtipid ng konti hehe)
btw, mga sisses... the sea tour - may additional bayad na 50/pax for environmental chuva then 100/pax for a guide. you bring bread para ipakain sa isda. you also wear shoes (yung png underwater) or kung wala, 100/pair ang rent. may pwede ding irent na waterproof case for ordinary digicam for 300 or rent a digicam with waterproof case na tapos sayo yung memory card. they said its 700 pero natawaran ko ng 600. hay presyong foreigner... pero kinagat na namin coz sayang naman, andun na kami ni hubby :) kaya if u have underwater cam, the better. mas maganda nga sana kung may video pa. the coffe na 3-in-1 der is 30/cup.
twas great, really! hubby said "it was his best birthday ever" ;)
