« on: January 12, 2009, 10:57:36 am »
i think ok lang eat ng chocolates pero in moderation lang.
kasi sympre you have to watch for the sugar naman baka madevelop ng gestational diabetes which is not good for pregnant women.

what are the meanings of our moles and birthmarks kaya?
example. if you have daw mole sa lips - madaldal daw.

ang napansin ko lang, eh i'd rather be quiet nalang, or sometimes alone, parang ayoko ng too much crowd, i dont want na yung magdaldal ng magdaldal, in short parang naging serious type ako, kasi before makulit ako, bubbly , madaldal...
i dont know if this has something to do with post partum blues/depression.
or bka nag mature lang ako as a person. dahil mommy nako.

Your Kid's Health and Safety / Re: All About New Born Screening
« on: May 13, 2008, 06:03:53 am »
ah within 48hrs pla i thought within 24 hrs lang kasi yung ke baby within 24hrs tska kinunan.
kasi sa akin hindi ko na kinuha sa pedia ko, wala naman sya sinabi, naiwan pa nga yung baby ko ng 1 week sa hospital kasi ang jaundice... tpos 1 month after ko manganak bumalik kami for my baby's check up, after that hindi na kami bumalik sa kanya.

ayun nga i agree with you na dapat within a week may result na para makita kung may abnormalities at mabigyan ng pedia ng necessary treatment.

hi just want to ask kung gano nyo katagal or kabilis nakuha result ng newborn screening ng babies nyo?
tska diba dapat within 24 hrs yung blood sample?
i am just wondering kasi after 2 days after my cousin gave birth tska palang kinuha yung sample ng blood niya tpos within 3 days nakuha na yung result.
just wondering kung iba iba talaga for different hospitals.
thanks

Money / Re: Teaching your kids how to save
« on: May 09, 2008, 10:56:56 am »
just want to ask lang when can i possibly teach my child how to save? at what age?
sympre for babies diba tyo nagsasave for them.
ako every payday i see to it that i'll be able to set aside atleast 500 per payday para sa savings so its 1000 a month, tpos yung mga money na napamaskuhan niya or mga binigay sa kanya. derecho din sa savings niya.

Pamahiin / pwera usog
« on: May 06, 2008, 01:16:40 pm »

tapos yung mommy ko naniniwala din sa usog, i read nga from other thread here in SP yung about usog. well, ako din naniniwala ako. kasi maski ako matanda nauusog pa rin. based sa experience ko. nabati kasi ako nung mom ng friend ko who is pagod ang hungry tpos suddenly parang bglang bumigat ulo her, my friend's sister told me na baka nausog daw ako ng mom niya magpalaway daw ako, so thinking na wala naman mangyayari kung papalaway ako, so i asked tita na lawayan niya ako, ayun tita licked her thumb tpos sa tummy ko she made 3x sign of a cross why whispering pwera usog. suddenly naging ok yung pakiramdam ko na parang wlang nangyari.

another experience ko about this pamahiin, after i gave birth, my mom did not allow me to take a bath for a month (so imagine kung gano kalagkit yung pakiramdam ko), hay puro punas punas lang, after daw magpahilot, puwede lang daw me hilotin kapg nagsubside na bleeding ko. so ok fine tiis nalang... after the hilot, she insisted of using pito pito leaves ata yun for my first bath. pero dapat may magpapaligo daw sa akin. so ayun, naligo ako using nung pinaglagaan ng dahon para sa mga bagong panganak.

damng bwal after i gave birth..
- text
- TV
- magbasa
- malamig

tpos dapat daw balot na balot.

another pamahiin , eh kapag kunwari may nagpasyal sa bahay nyo na baby, kailangan daw ipitan yung baby ng pera atleast 20 peso bill... i dont know the reason behind this pamahiin, but im practicing it. so everytime my new baby visitor kami sa hse, bago umalis nag-iipit ako ng pera sa paa ng baby.
