Hi,

Dates of Day 1: Apr. 9, May 7
28 Days Cycle (Apr. 9 to May 6)

46 Days (May 6 to June 20/present) no menstrual flow

"Kasi after nung MAY, nagcondom na po kami."

Hi zajmine, meron tayong Thread on Pills under Health Discussion >> Birth Control.

http://www.smartparenting.com.ph/parentchat/index.php/topic,13998.0.html

Hi rochelleanne,

Basa muna tayo ng news about Implanon.  Here's what we can find.

"Nearly 600 women have become pregnant despite using a popular contraceptive implant, a health watchdog has said.
There have also been more than 1,600 reports of adverse reactions to the Implanon device, which is designed to prevent pregnancy for three years."

Implanon: 600 pregnancies despite contraceptive implant
http://www.bbc.com/news/health-12117299

"The NHS has paid out nearly £200,000 in compensation to women who have become pregnant or been injured by a contraceptive implant that is growing in popularity, Channel 4 News reveals."

Implanon contraception failures cost NHS £200,000

"Implanon, got lost, according to an article in the U.K. Daily Mail.
Merck, the New Jersey-based manufacturer of Implanon, declined to go into detail about the device’s movement in a women’s body, instead citing warnings in the patient handout.
Its literature cites “problems of insertion and removal” as a potential risk of the device.
“Removal of the implant may be very difficult or impossible because the implant is not where it should be,” according to Merck’s patient handout on the device."

Ang Day 14 ay ovulation day o highest fertile day kung ikaw ay 28-Day Cycle.

Hi Jena,

Ang Sep. 13 ay Day 11 mo.  Since Sep. 4 nag-start ang menstruation  period mo, possible fertile day ang Day 11.   Sana mag-take-note na kayo ng husband mo.  Pwede kahit notebook lang, then lagyan ninyo ng dates at everyday, write your observations...May discharge ba? may masakit ba (headache, body ache etc)? Or meron bang something emotional (kasi makaka-affect sa ovulation mo)?  Update mo ako, kahit sa PM ha.

Hobbies and Special Interests / Re: GLOBE BUSINESS LINE DISCONNECTED
« on: July 28, 2014, 11:51:26 pm »
Hi,

Ang alam ko, laging may lock-in period, like 1 year or 2 years.

The rest are unreliable.

Binaha kami noong Ondoy (2008).

Ang phone number mo, nakaopen for promotions at advertising.

Birth Control / Re: New to pills. Post your questions here.
« on: July 28, 2014, 04:01:57 pm »

Contraceptives are among the deadliest drugs.

Hi zavrilline,

I am assuming that the dates you provided are the first days of your menstruation period.  So, ano nang balita?  Nagkaroon ka na ba kahapon? July 27?  Ang longest cycle mo kasi ay 30 days.  Kung wala pa, don't worry.  Within range pa rin naman.  The Cycle Length for many women is 26 to 32 days.  Longer cycles could reach up to 42 days.

Salamat sa pagshare mo ha.  I also read your Private Message but decided to reply here first. Before this, mano-mano akong nagbibilang sa calendar.

Jul 5, 9, and 13 ...Intercourse

Highly Fertile ka noong July 5 to 13.  Pwede kang nabuntis.

Wala pa ring extensive at conclusive research na nagagawa para masabing effective and Withdrawal.

Also, high risk of acquiring Diseases and Sexually Transmitted Infections.  Intimate acts (skin to skin contact and exposure to body fluids) or engaging in sex...exposes women to health risks, from those that may require hospitalization or serious treatment...like Hepatitis B, TB, severe UTI,  Vulva/Vaginal/Cervical Infections...to the embarrassing...like Gonorrhea, Genital herpes, Syphilis...to deadly ones...like HPV/Cervical Cancer and HIV/AIDS.

Your partner is not morally and not legally bound to you.  You are not married and living with this person on a daily and permanent basis...meaning, di mo alam ang medical history, hygiene practices at iba pang mahalagang bagay tungkol sa kaniya.

Mas maraming aspeto ng pakikipag-relasyon ang di made-develop...like self-sacrifice, faithfulness, responsibility and family-orientation.

Kaming mga lalaki, mas lower ang risk namin to diseases and infections...particularly on the sexual level...kasi less ang  surface area ng skin namin na moist at prone to bacteria, parasites, and viruses.

Finally, you deserve to be honored...with a marital vow from a real man with genuine respect and solid conviction...the one who will love you for everything that you are...including your faults and imperfections.

Hi chardonnay,

Nagko-conduct talaga ako ng seminar on Natural Family Planning sa group.  Yung simplified pero combined para mas effective.  This year nga lang, wala pa.

There had been times na 2 new persons every week. They come and go...but new ones take their place.

If I'm sent a YM or Gmail chat using private message, naibibigay ko ang accounts ko...nagiging mas interactive and immediate ang sharing.

« on: July 24, 2014, 05:47:43 pm »
Hi Jena Chua,

Congratulations ha...and thank you for sharing here.

June 12 - July 9
28-Day Cycle

July 10 - menstruation period

July 13- intercourse

That's July 23.

You can email or send me a private message (pm) for the other dates of the first day of your menstruation...if you need further help in determining your fertile and infertile days.

26
Hi chardonnay,

Sorry, wala. Meron pang online.

Thank you ha, for giving me an idea.

National NFP Awareness Week - JULY 20 - JULY 26, 2014
2014 theme:
Natural Family Planning:
It's Worth It.
Join the Revolution!

"Celebrate and reverence God's vision of human sexuality."
Discover Natural Family Planning

Natural Family Planning Awareness Week is a national educational campaign.  The Natural Family Planning Program of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops develops a poster each year with basic supportive materials.  It is the individual dioceses however, that offer a variety of educational formats in the local church to focus attention on Natural Family Planning methods and Church teachings which support their use in marriage.

The dates of Natural Family Planning Awareness Week highlight the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love and responsible parenthood.  The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother.

Hi Qina,

Sorry for the late response.  I've been quite busy.  Ang shortest cycle mo ay 27 days.  That means na as early as Day 9 (or nine days after your menstruation started), possible na mag-fertile ka na.  Ang period ay 3-5 days.   So kung ang-end ka nung Day 4 or Day 5, then after 5 more days, may penetration ulit...that's already Day 9 or Day 10...yes pwede kang mabuntis.

Hi Ysay,

If you're concerned about getting pregnant then why not learn more about your body, and know when you could get pregnant or not...instead of exposing yourself to deadly synthetic chemicals?

"...side effects eg, nausea, vomiting, headache, breast discomfort, depression, skin rashes and slight weight change.  Menstrual irregularities eg, amenorrhea, breakthrough bleeding, spotting and menorrhagia are common with progesterone-only contraceptives. "

Source: Full Prescribing Information of: Lyndavel
http://www.mims.com/philippines/drug/info/Lyndavel/?type=full

Tama ka.  Yes, you're getting pregnant even while on birth control.

"Lyndavel...thins the lining of the uterus."

Source: Full Prescribing Information of: Lyndavel
http://www.mims.com/philippines/drug/info/Lyndavel/?type=full

"Category X: Studies in animals or human beings have demonstrated foetal abnormalities or there is evidence of foetal risk based on human experience or both, and the risk of the use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweighs any possible benefit. The drug is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant."

Source: Full Prescribing Information of: Lyndavel
http://www.mims.com/philippines/drug/info/Lyndavel/?type=full

"Contents:   Medroxyprogesterone acetate."
"...medroxyprogesterone ; Belongs to the class of progestogens. Used as systemic contraceptives."

Lastly, ang Lyndavel ay Progestogen-only contraceptive...nakaka-cancer ito according to the World Health Organization.

Sexuality / Threesome health risks leveled up
« on: July 07, 2014, 04:44:34 am »
Hi chekai,

Previously, you seem so senstive.

"...makipagsex lang but never to have an affair.'

"Gustuhin ko man na intindihin na sex is just normal sa mga guys (kahit hindi sa wifey nila) is andoon pa rin yun sa mind ko na dapat hindi na.

What he is asking from me is FULL TRUST...but after that statement, the TRUST is parang may konting question na. Weird, hindi pa man nangyayari but affected ako."

Re: Purely sex but not an affair
« on: June 30, 2014, 12:32:49 pm »

Suddenly, this idea of a Threesome? Well, if all these really came from you and there's just one person using your account...okay lang.  I hope this inquiry would not affect your spontaneity in sharing your thoughts.

Sige, lets talk about Hygiene and  Physiological implications.

In the non-sexual levels, we would cover our nose and mouth in the presence of a person who had just sneezed.  We avoid skin contact with strangers who sit beside us in a public transport.  In one report I watched in the Solar News channel, people are talking about banning handshakes or replacing it with something with minimal skin contact.

Now, on the sexual level.  I'm sure you are very much aware how difficult it is to take care of your body as a woman.  That's just one body.  You have your own set of hygienic practices and precautions to keep yourself in good health.  A slight change in your pH balance...using contaminated water, the wrong soap or wash...can lead to an infection.  When you became sexually active...another body, your husband's, has now been taken into consideration.  You should have started regular consultations with a gynecologist.  Pap smear every year and guard against signs of Pubic Lice, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Genital warts, HPV/Cervical Cancer...some of which may not have symptoms.

And yes, if your husband has the tendency to have sex with someone other than you...he could became a carrier, if not currently infected.

A few months ago I sat in a school clinic beside a college student who was in so much pain because of a recurring Urinary Tract Infection.  She had been discharged from the hospital a week before because of the same condition.  Later, she told the nurse that it was because she was sexually active.

Women are more prone to infection because the vagina has more internal surface area.

Now imagine having a third body.  Someone whose medical history is very much unknown to any of you.

Eh kung kiss lang?
Hepatitis B - nakukuha sa laway

Kung kiskisan lang (skin to skin contact)?
 Genital Herpes
 Pubic Lice (Crabs)

 Tulo (Gonorrhea)

448 Million new cases of Sexually Transmitted Infections occur yearly - WHO, Solar News

HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) lead to "250,000 Deaths each year" - Solar News

Prevention:
"The only way to eliminate the risk of acquiring a Sexually Transmitted Infection is to avoid sex completely."  Using a Condom will not protect you...it can only reduce the risk."

That's just the hygiene and physiological implications.  Now the psychological.  How will your minds deal with this...yours, your husband's and this third person's?

As I have said before, sex is a full sensory experience.  All the senses are highly involved.  That's not something that one could easily set aside.  That can even go deep in the subconscious level.
