Breastfeeding / Re: How to Increase Breastmilk Production Part 2
« on: April 18, 2013, 03:39:56 pm »
breastfeeding works ona supply and demand basis. the more you nurse or pump, the more milk you will produce. i remembered when i was still breastfeeding, meron time na naka-latch lg si baby all the day long! if not naman, parang nagpupump lg ako buong araw.

but it's worth it. i exclusively breastfeed our son for almost 2 years! kaya nyo din yan :)

we usually look for a restroom for PWD. para kami lg andun. some malls offer to use the janitor's room. mas madali maghugas dun than the normal sink they have sa crs. there are malls that has baby changing areas.

oo nga sis, i agree. for now, all we can do is constant reminder. :)

update....lara is now 2 and half, i just remove her diaper then nagsabi na siya na she wants to poop and wee, so tipid na kami sa diaper...so happy :) talagang kids will learn in their own time, hindi pwede pilitin pag ayaw pa nila..

wow! congrats. we hope to reach that milestone soon :D

we have set limited time for our 2-year old. we downloaded Mickey Mouse Clubhouse videos. we usually allow him to watch max of  1 episode every day (for 2-3 weeks). and we play phonics videos before and after the MC episode :)

we had a Boracay trip when our son was 3 months old. At take off and landing, i nurse him. the sucking and swallowing helps avoid ear discomfort from air pressure changes.

we had a lot of travels after that, and it was easier when he was younger. all he does is sleep and feed :)

My son is not potty trained at 2 yet. He usually calls our attention after he's done with the pee and/or poop. We are reminding him to tell us if he needs to go to the bathroom. he plays with his potty trainer seat but he doesn't want to sit on it. during day time we don't use diapers but underwears instead, yun lg, we have cleaning up to do.  we hope to get him to be potty-trained soon.

my son is 2 now and we are still wearing diapers at night. during day time, he is on his underwear. he's not potty trainined yet and we are trying to get him there. hopefully soon :)

ayun, just got back form our pedia. Gab is turning 6 months this July 21 and we are starting solids sa August. we will continue breast milk as he is taking now and he will be allowed to eat brown rice (pureed) and take water na once a day lg muna, 2 tsps. share ko dito next month ang blog ko with the list of recommended food from my pedia.

from what i remember blant foods muna then progressing to the sweet ones - so brown rice, cereals, veges and last yun fruits. :)

12
when your baby started solid foods, how many times are they suppose to take milk (formula or breastmilk)?

Getting Pregnant / Re: Has anyone tried cord blood banking na?

we think of availing this too pero finally decided not to get one. i agree that this will come in handy pero we prefer to use our finances for other investment like an insurance for baby. mahal kasi and medyo konti pa lg success stories for this.
