Sis, mas maganda kung sigurado ka. Merong mga govt hospitals and health centers na napaka mura ng xray.

Your Health / Re: Blood in poop :(
« on: November 14, 2012, 11:35:34 am »
May naramdaman ka bang hapdi nung lumabas yung poop? If so, you may hemorrhoids. Also, can you describe the amount and the shade of the blood? Bright red blood means its fresh blood coming from your lower GI tract while dark red blood means that its coming from your upper GI tract. There are a lot of causes for it and i hope you see a doctor immediately. And increase your fiber and fluid intake. :)

Holidays / Re: Where to go this Christmas?

Every Christmas season maganda yung display sa Ayala Triangle, may lights show pa sila. Also, if you go to MOA on a weekend, they have a fireworks display at 7pm.  ;)

Hi! Yes, you can give your kids gatorade. The blue one, kids love those. I was talking with my aunt who is a doctor and she recommends it.

Your Kid's Health and Safety / Re: All about Primary Complex
« on: November 02, 2012, 05:27:48 pm »
@purplr10: Hi sis! most likely pneumonia talaga meron baby mo and not pc. Have you tried testing her for asthma or allergies since clear naman yung sipon niya ? Does anyone in your family have allergies? Primary complex kasi does not usually manifest with cough and runny nose. Kids with primary complex are usually the ones who are not gaining weight kahit magana kumain or most of the time talagang walang gana. Hindi sila inuubo, i think that's one misconception of primary complex. That is why sinasabi ng doctors  na hindi nakakahawa ang PC, since wala ngang phlegm na nilalabas ang mga kids.

Is there anyone in your house that has had cough for more than 6 months? If so, it is best to have everyone in the household checked and not just the baby.  Sayang naman ang ang pag treat kung ang source ng TB hindi magagamot.

Just in case, here's the link to the FAQ page of the NBS reference center.

@Tsukino4: If you have Philhealth, I don't think you should worry yourself with the price too much. It's already included in the Philhealth newborn package. And even without Philhealth, it is already mandatory that you have your child undergo the NBS test.
