We have tried Acacia Hotel in Alabang. We got it at discounted price sa Dealgrocer. Suoer yummy breakfast buffet (ang daming choices). May play area for kids (with toys), yung pool naman is average lang and merong movies for kids every Saturday night (with popcorn and drinks). Very nice room with bath tub & merong free back massage pa!
We really enjoyed our stay.

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Akala ko kasi ang tagal naman ni Lord magbless saken. Yun pala, He is just waiting for me to be obedient. He is always ready to bless but I am not ready for the blessing.

hi mommies..
last birthday ni baby, we received over 20k in cash as gifts..it was just too much to spend for him and we dont want to spend it as well kasi hindi naman para samen binigay..we saved up 70% of it and the rest pinambili namin ng mga gamit niya..

samen he holds his ATM..i want to give him a sense of freedom in terms of his income since pinagtrabahuhan niya yun..
i also dont look at his payslip..he just tells me how much he has earned (usually the same amount naman every pay-out)..i really dont care if he doesnt tell me the exact amount or if there is a discrepancy sa totoong sahod niya- the trust has been established na din..every month i just give him the list of expenses then we will just divide it..he gives me the money and whatever is left is for him to spend..
this works for me kasi if he has extra na hindi ko alam, i usually get the surprise gifts or dinner dates from him..

we were at that situation dati sis..here are the things we did. hope you can pick up some: 
*increase income - even when both me and my husband were still working, it wasnt enough; so nagsideline kame..we were into buy and sell, direct selling, 2nd job
*decrease expenses - we have to lower down our lifestyle; mahirap yung adjustment but knowing that this isnt gonna last forever anyway encouraged us
*we listed all debts and we paid the smallest ones first.. once settled, we crash it out the list. gives us a sense of fulfillment..for bigger debts, we made installment arrangements..yung iba allowed us to pay when able..
*we had savings (kahit very small amount) para in case of emergency eh may makukunan at hindi na uutang
we also cut our credit card..it is a temptation which may just lead to greater problems.

Mahirap magbigay ng gift sa mga lalaki kasi ang aming gusto tapos mahal pa. Since I have to consider budget, I would probably give him 2 gifts: 1 need and 1 want. Sa need, siguro a tshirt or pants and sa want, might be a new PS3 game.
I also would want to to do this prepared dates for 2014. I have seen different versions of this. Some has money in it pa or gift certificates.

sis momveh..kung hindi naman problema sayo ang money and meron pa rin kayong source of finances even if you stay at home then i would suggest you stay at home with your baby..this way, maalagaan mo sya ng maayos and you and your mom will also be able to rest..

i think it depends sis..may mga husband kasi talaga na they feel it is unfair especially kapag madami din silang gustong bilhin for themselves..meron namang ibang tlagang living up to the design na husbands are the provider of the family..
