Labor and Child Birth / Re: Lying in clinics vs. Hospitals
« on: September 09, 2012, 10:01:35 pm »
sis tsukino:

Well as per my experince po kasi yung OB is my assistant nurse at midwife. So yung 2 nakatutok talaga ang bantay sakin. And with regards sa pagpasok ni hubby sa DR yup!pinayagan sya na pumasok to took pictures at samahan ako while on labor.

Sis caroline_26,
pwede naman lumipat as long as you have on your hand your booklet, wherein all your history of every check up during pregnancy is listed.  Ako kasi dito ko sa manila nagpapacheck-up then we planned talaga na sa pampanga manganak so nung 7 months preggy na ko dun palang ako nagstart magpacheck-up sa OB ko na magpapaanak talaga sakin. I just bring my booklet with me always.

hi sis,

nung preggy ako kay baby nathan I ask my OB about painless kasi nga i was too afraid of the pain na dala ng labor.
I was afraid kasi talaga na mabuntis at manganak talaga. Pero she said ang painless hindi mo nalang daw mararamdaman yung after birth, yung process na ng pagtahi yun lang daw ang hindi mo na mafefeel, but the labor process mararamdaman mo daw yun kasi you need to push your baby out.

Siguro sa sobrang pagod din at hirap kaya bumigay talaga ko, we were in delivery room at 7pm lumabas sya around 2:45am na. then i woke up 8 in the orning hehe

Pregnancy Health and Nutrition / Re: ubo sipon at lagnat habang nagbubuntis
« on: September 09, 2012, 09:02:17 pm »
hi mommy mumros,

Inom ka always ng water then like sis sasha said take vitamin C,
Naexperience ko rin yan nung buntis ako that was actually my first baby. 7days antibiotic ako nun as prescribed by my OB.
Then water teraphy, juices, kain ka ng mga fruits na mayaman sa vitamin C. Even nung 8 months na tyan ko nagkaubo't sipon din ako nun. Pero naagapan naman... Thanks GOD naman baby is still healthy though ngayon madali talaga sya kapitan ng sipon at ubo.

hi mommy si daddy,

For my baby boy 1 year old and 3 months na din sya and we used now purified water galing sa mineral water station.
No need to boil na din and direct na rin from juices to milk ang timpla.

Weaning, Formula and Solids transition / Re: pediasure complete
« on: September 08, 2012, 04:32:16 am »
^^ sis pedia sure din sa baby nung mag1 year old sya and yes ganun din yung poops niya malambot talaga akala ko hindi yun normal so we tried LACTUM, ayun ok naman yung poops niya paste like and brown color. then hiyang niya naman bumilog sya at lumakas dumede kaya nagstick na kami sa lactum

6
first we try pediasure for 1-3years old..pero sobrang lambot ng poops ni baby so we switch to LACTUM!
ayun super kulit and bumilog talaga sya...

^^ yah sis... may sari sarili ding opinions and comments ang mga pedia.
But as long as our babies are healthy and safe with them there no need to doubt and worry just follow their advices.

8
we first try similac kaso hindi niya tinitake tapos minsan sinusuka pa... nagkaron sya ng infection sa dugo daw then the pedia advice to switch to similac A+... after mga 2 weeks we switch to bonna...yun mas naging ok sya at biglang bigat

^^ hi sis, better give your baby ng plain water kapag constipated sya... hindi siguro hiyang kay baby mo ang bonna kaya ganun...well with regards pala dun sa changing of ratio ng milk, pedia din ang nagrecommend nun sakin.

^^ NO!mommy...
Kung ayaw ng 2:1 pwede mo gawing 3:1 (3oz water and 1 scoop of bonamil. Or pwede rin diba yung 1 feeding bottle is 8oz?so kung sa ratio na 2:1 you have to put 4scoop sa 8oz water. Pwede mo gawin imbes na 4scoop bawasan mo nalang gawin mong 3scoop. Advise din po yan ng pedia niya before and even now inaaply ko whenever constipated si baby.

^^ hi mommy kimmyamiyumi,
as far as i remember 2:1 ang bonamil...2:water:1scoop of powder milk.

Like mine after birth similac ang gatas niya and ayaw niya inumin or iinumin man niya pero isusuka din. His pedia advice to change to similacA+ pero ganun parin. So I decide na magtry ng BONNA ayun. Yellow in collor na pasty.
