sis if he doesn't want the plain ORS, try the flavored ones (pedialyte). i use syringe for my son if he really doesn't wanna take it. little by little, don't force him to drink a lot right away. my pedia once advice me if my son doesn't really want to drink the ORS then try the "second best" alternatives such as; gatorade, FLAT 7-up (make the CO2 evaporate 1st), frostee, gelatine, and the likes. if you notice that after every milk intake he's pooping then he might be having lactose intolerance and might wanna consider switching to a lactose-free milk during the duration of diarrhea.
2 months ago,nagka-diarrhea din son ko and his pedia gave him probiokids, the one in sachet that cost P75 each na hinahalo sa milk good for 1 feeding only every sachet. para din syang oresol.so far ok naman, plus i make sure na meron talaga sya stock lagi ng yakult to aid his digestion.never ko pa din sya napa-try ng gatorade,i don't know pero parang feeling ko di pa ganun ka-advisable for my son.
^sis diege yung probiokids nakapack lang sya ng maliit similar din sa packaging ng oresol and pedialyte, but the thing is basta lang sya foil.imagine mo yung kasama ng mga instant noodles, ganun sya. i think sa mga pedia nga lang sya nabibili, nagcheck ako sa mercury drug last time pero wala sila. napamahal pa pala ko dun sa 75/sachet ilang taon na si baby mo sis?
