so not advisable pala ito not unless overfed si baby? ako kasi minsan naiisip kong gamitin na yung pacifier ni baby pag nahirapan nko patulugin sya..

parang ganun sis. hindi tlaga nag a advise yung mga pedia unless ayaw tlaga tumigil ni baby sa kaka dede..

sang ayon ako sayo mommy. c baby izzie ko 1 year and 9 months na, kokonti pa yung mga words niya. and pangit yung teeth niya.

first 3 months nag pacifier talaga siya, then kusa na natanggal sa kanya and thankful din ako kasi siya na mismo yung umayaw..siguro dahil nagpapabreastfeed ako..yun kasi pampatulog niya yung pagd*d* sakin.. :D

ok lang daw kung orthodontic na type ng pacifier ang gagamitin....before nuk gusto niya..ngayon avent na..ayaw ni baby ng ainon... ;D

i dont think pacifier is bad for the teeth. Drinking bottled milk to sleep is worse than paci. YUng overcrowding naman is not because of the paci. Sometimes lang mommies cant blame anyone kaya sa paci nalang nila biniblame yung overcrowding ng teeth ng baby nila  ;) sometimes paci can cause overbite pero hindi naman daw noticeable.

my baby is turning 1, problema ko din kasi he cant sleep ng maayos pag walang paci... im trying na wala na lang paci pero d niya talaga kaya... though he use it only when sleeping, pag gising naman sya di niya hinahanap.. im afraid din aka may effect nga sa teeth pero sabi ng pedia di naman... pano nga ba ma stop ang paci?!

I guess babies will just stop using paci when they are ready to stop  :) Like everything else they will eventually outgrow it. :)

yung eldest ko nagpacifier until more or less 2 y/o siya pero maganda teeth niya, yung bunso ko, as in super ayaw ng pacifier, ang gusto thumbsuck, hiwalay two front teeth niya.... :(

yung baby ko mas nagustuhan pa thumb sucking kaysa pacifier niya :-[ di naman maawat yan kasi according sa psychologists ang babies may oral fixation talaga, yun ang source ng pleasure nila. when they learn to grasp, isusubo rin nila.

ang hirap lang talaga awatin sa paci.. sabi nila, they will stop on their own, kaya lang paranoid pa din ako na may side effects nga ang paci,, pero sabi ni pedia ok lang daw..

hi mommies, just want to ask kung meron ba sa inyo na nagpagamit ng pacifiers/soothers sa mga babies nyo?

my pedia does not agree with it mas ok daw kung hand/thumb na lang.

di ko rin nagamit sa baby ko yun, may gift kasi sa kin.so nag try lang ko, pero yaw ni baby. pero good thing na rin kasi mas maganda nga na thumb na lang. so hinayaan ko lang si baby na mag thumsuck, handsuck maski toesucking. pero nung nag 6mos na siya, kinontrol na namin, inaalis namin pag nakikita namin na subo niya, kasi advise din ng pedia, para hindi niya makasanayan paglaki.

ako mommy I used paci sa baby ko. Once kasi nun check up ni baby sa pedia iyak sya ng iyak kaya yung pedia na naghanap ng paci  ;D feeling ko nasa discreetion mo din yan kung papagamit mo kay baby mo or not ang paci, yung mga pedia naman kasi minsan din personal preference nalan nila yun inaadvics satin e  :)

My 2nd month old baby is learning to suck his thumb but laging kong inaalis and pinapalitan ng pacifier. Aside from sanitary reasons, I used to thumbsuck kasi when I was a little kid and it really took a long time for me to take that habit off.  :( Ang hirap tanggalin ng habit, I even reached grade six and I still sucked my thumb.  :-\ Yung pacifier kasi mommy, pwede mong alisin and itago if u decide di na niya kailangan, unlike yung thumb, laging nandiyan at his convenience so mahirap matanggal yung habit.
