My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and still can't make a conversation. Read a lot about autism and some signs can be seen sa daughter ko. I am still hoping she's just delayed on speech.  :'(

Kakatapos lang check-up ng daughter ko with Dr. Conducto sa Philippine Children's Medical Center. Sabi sa diagnosis e may symptoms yung anak ko that suggests Autism Spectrum Disorder. At the age of 4, she reads better than some Grade 1 students. So may hyperlexia daw. She's not good with verbal communication, though. So ayun nirecommend na magoccupational and speech therapy siya. Has anyone had any experience similar to this and did your child eventually become okay tapos ang finan diagnosis e wala syang autism? I am hoping kasi na sana macorrect at di sya madiagnose ng autism since migrating kami e. Baka madeny visa. Thanks!

Autism is a wide spectrum. Maraming mga nagi-improve with early intervention, merong mga nagkakaroon ng regression pag tinigil, merong ok na with their skills and in coping socially after therapy (kaya the earlier you start therapy, the better). For now, take small steps. Ipa OT and Speech Therapy ang bata as recommended by the doctor para magkaroon ng early intervention may autism man o wala. Worry about the final diagnosis later.

Hoping to know her development. Please update us po.

Hi all.  I signed up just today to join  :)... I have 2 kids (both girls) 17yo and 4yo.  The panganay started talking when she was 3 at nakakaloka kasi nung matuto sya magsalita, English (probably because of the Nick Jr and Disney Jr shows she watches). Just last night she said, 'Tita gusto ko yan. Bukas mo.' (referring to her tita's baon bag).

Hi, I've just recently sign up as well. For me, I have 2 kids and a new born baby. My first son started talking quite late and my second daughter can converse much earlier than normal kids. I researched online and found out that music can increase their development as well.

I try to play music for her and I guess it helped in her development especially singing or hymning songs. Hope it helps you.

Hi Mommy  :)
Kaisa mo kami sa ganyang pakiramdam. If I may ask ilang taon na ba baby mo? My eldest kasi noon kami lang magkasama kasi nasa work daddy niya lagi. Hindi sya as in nagsasalita ng marami kagaya ng normal na bata na matatas na at the age of 2. Yes same situation sobrang nagalala ako noon, and sabi ko pagdating niya ng 3 hindi parin nagtalk dalin ko sya sa Development Pedia. I did research kasi first time mom ako so nakatulong na malaman kong hindi pare pareho ang stages ng bata when it comes to development. Anyhow, we gave Yuri time to adjust at wag madaliin at wag mag worry. Until one day, we decided ipasok na sya sa normal school and  to make the story short, eventually natuto na sya not just to talk but to communicate. Nagstruggle lang sa school kasi they don't understand Tagalog only English.  :( Pero need nila matuto.

Iba iba kasi ang case mommy ng bata, merong mga delayed lang talaga yet hindi tayo muna magworry kasi we need to give them ample time to develop at yung iba naman may pre-existing conditions. Yung third son ko due to his health condition naapektuhan ang hearing which is eto  yung sinasabi ko na depende sa case ng bata. Diagnosed sya ng bilateral hearing loss.

Taga saan ka mommy? This post can help you search for Dev Ped. https://www.smartparenting.com.ph/parenting/kids-with-special-needs/a-directory-of-developmental-pediatricians-in-metro-manila-a00026-20180123

Everything will be alright  ;) Need lang natin alamin at agapan kung meron talagang problema. For now, take time to observe and kung talagang may hindi maganda sa bata, consult a medical professional na pwede mag explain ng case ng anak mo.

Hugs! :D
