Hi mommies! Question, ano po ang difference ng vaccines sa hospital at health centers? Super mahal po kasi ng ibang vaccines ngayon. Thank you!

My eldest kids lumaki sa private pedia  but un bunso ko after ma start ko ng polio vaccine sa health center ( wala sa pedia niya and even sa ibang pedia, his pedia advised to go to health center)  dun ko na plage dinadala for vaccine. May ngsasabi na pag health center kulang sa dosage or un mga gamot is malapit na ma expired daw BUT  un nurse namin sa office ng advise sakinna ok lang if sa health center it's not true un malapit na ma expired or kulang sa dosage since ng work cia sa health center and strict daw sila sa mga rules.

No difference at all. My pedia even advised us to have LO's vaccine from health centers para makatipid. Ang kaso lang, hindi always available lahat ng vaccines sa centers. So yung mga hindi available, sa Pedia kami pumupunta.

Agree that there's really no difference in terms of the vaccine being given.  :)
I'm a pedia myself and I advise my patients to avail the vaccines at the health center near them (malaki ang matitipid nila sa LHC  ;) ). But if the vaccines are not available (or super dooper late na), then their babies can have the vaccines from their pedia (but at a cost nga lang).

It's important that parents are informed of the options available to them. :)
