Very well said leela.

As a MOD, I guess you should not be adding fire to an already ignited conversation. Professionalism should be one of your traits once you become a MOD. :D

Question lang. This may be OT. When can a thread be locked? What are the considerations? Thanks!

Everything else is OT na.

point/post count / Member Levels
« Reply #48 on: December 01, 2009, 04:21:28 pm »

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie here, have just registered today. As I was browsing the previous posts, there are discussions on post points. As I understand it, it affects status of membership here in SP. Could somebody please explain to me what it is for? What do we gain if our status becomes higher? Is it necessary to gaing more points? I don't think this is explained in the house rules. I joined for the sole purpose of sharing and exchanging information with other mothers (and fathers) like me. Thanks in advance to whoever could explain it to me.

Thanks for the link, frankie. One thing is now clear, members should join and post relevant discussions not just for the sake of points, but to share knowldege and experiences above all.

lnespectato, welcome to SP and we hope you become a valuable member of the community.

don't forget to read the house rules to familiarize yourself with the board rules.

ngayon pa lang, i commend you for posting using proper spelling. this is a sign of respect to other members who do not appreciate text-speak because it creates confusion. unfortunately, the rule on text-speak is commonly violated by newbies and even old members of the community.

again, welcome to SP and enjoy your stay here! :)

kahit saan, kahit kailan QUALITY & QUANTITY fights  ;) sana dito sa SP ganon din when it comes to member levels. but who are we to judge when it comes to posts quality, is it relevant? or is it chatty only? this is a forum--kung sino yung active, always signed and cooperative, siyempre they will be on a higher level  ;D
