hi joven, actually dr. javier is not doing the check up and re-casting anymore. head na kasi sya sa orthopedic dept dun..pero no worries marami doctor na titingin sa baby mo at mababait naman lahat. ganito kasi pag tuesday check up ng pedia yun tas pag wednesday yun na yung for casting. since na first time nyo, tama ba? siguro mas maganda na tuesday ka na pumunta para makakuha ka muna ng blue book. dalhin mo daughter mo ha kasi pag kukuha ka ng form dapat makita nila yung pasyente talaga eh. tapos ang doctor na titingin sa baby mo ang magsasabi kung saan kayo dederetso..sa  pedia ba muna or sa orthopedic na. usually, like us, deresto muna sa pediatric department para macheck up ang baby. ang schedule dun is every wednesday or depende sa ibibigay sayo. pag nacheck up na ang baby mo ng pedia that's the time na irerefer ka sa ortho. tapos ayun punta ka na ortho department for schedule ulit. medyo mahaba ang proseso at mahaba talaga ang pila. tyaga lang makakaraos din kayo. pag nagstart na ma-casting ang baby mo okay na yun balik na lang kayo every week or depende sa advise. si baby naka-6x casting din sya bago nakapagshoes. patience lang makakaraos din tayo dito. pagdating sa shoes, ask mo yung ibang patients baka meron sila pwede ibigay sayo. yung kay baby kasi for sure di na kasya sayo kasi 6months pa lang baby ko eh. saka hayaan mo pag nakabalik kami dun magtatanong ako kung sino pwede magbigay sayo. sa october ba kasi balik namin. saka ganun dun sabi ng mga doctor idonate na lang daw ang shoes na hindi kasya na at least mapapakinabangan pa ng iba. anyway, since na medyo malayo kayo meron ata service sa munisipyo ba ng batangas yun na lumuluwas everyday or sa ambulance na papunta dito pwede ka sumabay. ganun kasi ginagawa ng mga kasama namin na taga batangas din eh at least tipid sa pamasahe. lastly, dapat pala maaga ka ha..until 10am lang kuhanan ng blue book..dapat makaabot ka dun. hi smart momi,di ba puwede wednesday ako magpunta pgh early in the morning para makakuha ako nun blue card and then deretso na sa ortho is it possible?ang baby ko kc nacast na siya dito sa batangas and ok naman ponsetti method gamit niya kaya di pa makadecide ang dr kung puwede na mag shoes tapos lagi pa wala ang dr.kaya nagdecide ako sa pgh ko dadaljin baby ko hoping na baka puwede na mag shoes.bilateral clubfoot kc anak ko.what time nag sstart ang pila sa pagkuha ng blue card?

hi joven, depende sa dami ng pasyente..may cut off kasi bawat department dun..basta punta ka if not tuesday, wednesday kasi un ang araw para sa mga clubfoot babies..pag maaga ka mas may chance na uunahin ka sympre..goodluck sayo:)

hi joyen, good to know that magsshoes na rin daughter mo. naku first time ni baby magshoes super pahirapan..she cried all the time. nasa PGH pa kami non sobrang iyak niya. d ko natiis na nahihirapan sya kaya pagdating ng 9pm tinangggal na namin. until now she cant wear her shoes overnight.
Kay Mang Paul din ba kayo nagpasukat? magpapasukat nga kami ulit kasi d na magkasya sa kanya yung shoes niya ngayon. kaya im looking for someone who can donate their unused shoes..thanks..

hi joyen, size 1 na yung baby ko..yup dapat 23hrs niya suot yung shoes pero sya advise ng ortho pag sleep na lang kaso d niya kaya tlaga. kailangan na nga namin makapagpasukat ulit eh or makahanap ng magddonate kasi mga more than 2 weeks na sya walang shoes..;(
baka dumaan kami ng PGH tomorrow. d ko kasi nakausap si Mang Paul kanina eh..just pm me if you will be there also so we can meet

hi smart mom,sayang nasa pgh ako kahapon..sept 29 na balik namin sabi ng ortho.ilang months na baby mo para maliit ang paa niya?kc ang baby  ko is 1yrl old and 3months size 3 siya.ano ba cel number mo so i can txt u kapag andun kami pgh anf if ever palitan shoes ng baby ko i can give it to u.

Kung may interested, I'm giving away my daughter's shoes, size 0. Her size 1 shoes will also be available maybe two months from now. Both are without brace since gamit pa niya ito.

 Yung size 1 niya I got it from a generous parent from the States so I decided to pay it forward to another clubfoot baby.  To anyone interested, please pm me.  Kung wala kasi I'm donating it to Dr. Aguilar na lang. 

Edit:  Forgot to mention earlier na Mitchell's (Ponsetti) shoes pala ang gamit ng anak ko.   Size 0 (newborn) and 1 are available now.

available pa po ba yung Mitchell's ng baby mo? im hoping po kc my son is now 5mos old... nag undergo sya ng 5 sessions for casting.... he never had any special shoes though we were advised but wala kmeng budget kasi we really cant afford to buy one... im hoping you we can work on each other for this.. thanks momi! Hi..I am new here. I registered because I need help for my nephew who was born with clubfeet...he is now a 6-year old healthy and active kid. He is my elder sister's son. They're residing in the Middle East particularly in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

My nephew had his feet operated almost barely a week after he was born. He wore a cast until he was 6-month old. From the very start, we all felt the pain of having to go through that. After the cast was removed on his 6th month...he wore corrective shoes..I forgot the name of my nephew's doctor. All i can remember is that he's from the Capitol Med. Center in QC.

Now that my nephew's already 6-year old..my sister would like to find other non-invasive measure to correct her son's left foot...Napansin niya kasi..yung left foot ng pamangkin ko, medyo bumabalik sa dati..And laging natitisod ang nephew ko because of it. My sister doesn't want another operation for her son...naaawa na kasi ang ate ko sa anak niya...and ganun din kami...we don't want him to undergo another operation..ang hirap kasi...

Meron po ba kayong alam or mairerecommend na non-invasive treatment para sa pamangkin ko?
Uuwi po kasi sila this April 2011 to have a vacation...gusto ng sister kong mapatingnan ang paa ng anak niya...Ayaw na kasi niyang dalhin sa dating doctor...kasi gusto naman niyang mapatingnan sa iba ang pamangkin ko.
