Kami din ni hubby we're planning to put up "silog" business. Buti n lang yung friend namin kakaopen lang nila ng tapsilogan. Familiar ka ba sa bentelog? Ganun yung sa kanila. Meron pa silang ibang menu aside from bentelog, pero super bili nun kasi P20 pwede ka ng umorder ng cornsilog or hotsilog or longsilog, etc. Hindi sila franchised, own ideas lang nila. Their capital, P30k. Hindi lahat ng gamit nila bagong bili, like yung ref and yung ibang kaldero, ganun. Nagrerent lang sila ng space, P5k/mo. Sa Makati yung store nila, and sa Pasig sila namimili. Mag one month pa lang sila and so far malakas naman daw yung income. That's why we were encourage to put up our own store.

Im planning to put up this business din since patapos na contract ko sa work. gumagawa palang ako ng mala-feasibility study. For me sis wag ka na magfranchise. Though bentelog lang din balak ko since mas affordable sya. What we did is pumunta sa market and look for tocino, tapa, longganisa, etc. We bought half kilo or 1/4kilo muna for trial. We check kasi kung ilan ang lalabas per serving and kung maganda din quality. After several computations, ayos naman. Kaso mukhang di sa akin ipapatuloy yung business since mas malaki daw makukuha kong money if magwork na lang ako. hays, so much excited pa naman. Need mo pala sis na may katulong ka rin kahit papaano para di ka mahirapan.

as for the typical carinderia lunch menu, go w/ something may sabaw and saucy, i.e sinigan, tinola,pork steak, menudo..pwede mo rin agyan ng something fried ara may pangtern like fried fish, lumpiang gulay.

for medicines. basic for kids- paracetamol or ibuprofen, solmux; for adults- bioflu, biogesic, diatabs, tuseran/solmux

school supplies- pencil, ballpen, papers, paste/ glue, art paper, coupon bond.

as for your mark up, consider your accessibility to the nearest grocery and know your competition..
