Got a pretty good deal at SM Masinag supermarket for Zoe's Huggies diapers. May bundle kase sila ng XL Huggies Dry Comfort and XL Huggies Pull Ups (both 34 counts) for only 690. Total savings of 150, eh since we usually buy that combo, we took advantage na and bought 3 bundles hehe.

my soon-to-be 3 year old boy uses Pampers Active Baby XL while my 2-month-old baby girl uses the same brand in Small size.  I buy the large packs which costs Php390 (XL contains 32 pcs while S contains 48).  I buy 3 packs of each size per month so it costs me Php2340 for diapers alone! :-[

I know... but I tried using 3 different diapers on my son before kasi pero nag-rashes sya so bumalik ako active baby... So when I gave birth to my daughter, yun na din ang brand na binili ko for her. :(

we used generic diaper (winny or bear 123) = 30 pcs f-180.00 (6 pesos each) good for 30 days
at day time kasi we used cloth diapers (laking tipid talaga 2800 for 16 pcs CDs) for 7 months already

we use happy for our baby, P162.75 lang per pack of 30... ok din naman sya, hindi nagrarashes si baby saka hindi rin nagli-leak unless super puno na talaga sya. pero paglalabas, we use huggies kasi medyo bulky yung cut nung happy kaya minsan labas na sa legs yung diaper niya, hehe

2ng disposable diapers yung sa baby ko.. Huggies and Pampers lang, tapos nakapagtry sya ng generic but nung weeks pa lang sya,.. ayaw ko kasi ganun din naman.. di masyadong nagkakalayo ang price sa branded like pampers tapos di  pa hiyang kay baby kasi ngrarash ang bum niya.. yung XL ng Pampers 34pcs is 324.75 sa sm supermarket.. ewan ko lang ang huggies ngayon.. but now Im planning to use cloth diapers for my son and for my soon-to-come baby (laking tipid un) :)

Last weekend, we bought a pack of Mamy Poko slim for Zoe. This is on top of Huggies dry comfort and Huggies pull ups.

Nagiging gel kasi siya and madali mo makikita yung pee, pero if you will try to touch it dry naman siya at hindi kumakatas yun wetness (not unless punong puno talaga). What I don't like about it is hindi stretchable yung waist band niya, kaya mahirap isuot sa magulong baby (lalo na baby ko malaki hita)..dapat pantay pagkakalagay mo.

Mura talaga siya than HDC, halos same price ng pampers comfort and cheaper than EQ dry pero quality niya mas ok than both eq & pampers comfort. It is soft pa and magic tape.

Hallo again fellow mommy rodcielle_07,you are right sa pagiging mas economical ng cloth diaper, yes its a bit expensive if you are just starting pero in the long run ang laking tipid.
I can say from personal experience, yung niece ko kasi to whom I gave 18pcs of Alva Baby cloth diaper that initially bought for my son, kaya lang sobra active si baby kaya nag-lileak sa kanya, anyway, ang laki talaga tipid, kapag night time na lang sya nagdisposable.
So instead of going through the cost of disposable diapers, siguro , mas maganda pag-isipan ng ating mga fellow mommies to use cloth diapers instead, just a suggestion lang po mga mommies...
Happy parenting and God bless!

tama po mommy galathea.. plan ko pa nga dagdagan yung stash of cloth diapers ko kasi magkakababy na ulit.. I only have 10 pocket diapers and 2 covers.. kulang yun kung tutuusin.. pero magagamit din ng susunod.. tsaka ecofriendly pa coz you will not add so many dirty disposable diapers to our landfills.. grabe bago madecompose yun sobrang tagal pala.. and to add, no chemicals that can harm my baby's bum like toxins present in disposable diapers.. pero depende pa rin sa inyo mga mommies. pero if you are going to think, there are lots of benefits using CDs :)

Regards to all..:)

korek ka sis, pero gusto ko din sana ito itry kaso lang, need ko pa maglaba. I'm working and madadagdagan lang ng gagawin yung helper namin if paglalaba-hin ko pa siya.

pag full time mothe rna siguro ako tsaka ko to gagawin.  ;)
