How true po ba ang calamansi and baking powder combination to whiten underarms?

baka baking soda sis.

Home remedies for dark underarms

wala akong makita about calamansi and baking soda being combined, you can use it individually as each has whitening properties.

Baking Soda
put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl. Add approximately a tablespoon of water, or start with a teaspoon and gradually add more water until you have made a paste.

Next, wet your underarms with cold water. Slather half of the baking soda paste on either underarm. Use a toothbrush or your fingers to gently massage the baking soda onto your skin. Continue to do so for five minutes. If the paste starts to dry out, add a little bit more water. Once you have finished massaging the paste onto your skin, wash the paste off and gently pat dry. This routine should be performed at least twice a week, or until you see results, which should be after a few sessions.

Lemon/calamansi juice
Lemons are readily available in supermarkets, and when used like directed above, they can effectively lighten dark underarms. But, you should try looking for calamansi-infused products or the calamansi fruit itself. Calamansi is like a baby lime. It is a product native to the Philippines. It is tart and has a lime flavor, but it is also sweet. It is comparable to a Key lime, but it is much smaller. You can find calamansi in a Filipino grocery store, or in an Asian supermarket.

To use calamansi juice, or lemon juice, cut a lemon or calamansi in half. Use one half for each underarm, gently rubbing in the calamansi/lemon onto your underarm for a few minutes. Once finished, wash off and gently pat dry. This routine should be done every other day or until the desired results are achieved.

Papaya
When papayas are in season, you may not be thinking about how they will help your underarms. But, they actually can help. Papayas are known in Asian culture as effective whiteners. So, when you visit an Asian supermarket, you may see soaps that are made with papayas. Papaya also makes the skin supple and soft.

To use papaya as a home remedy for dark underarms, just cut a few cubes and use a couple of cubes for each underarm. You can either rub the cube on gently as you have done with the baking soda and calamansi/lemon, or you can put the cubes in a blender and slather it on like the paste. Wash the paste or residue off and pat dry. This routine should be performed every three days, or at least twice a week for five minutes each session.

^sa akin naman, Avon ang first deo ko then rexona...umitim ng todo ang UA ko  >:( ..Now I switched to Naural deo..medyo naglighten naman..so it must be the chemicals on the deo that causes the darkening..hmmmph.. May mai-recommend ba kaya na organic wax for use sa UA?

hi!
i've given birth thrice and have been using deo as early as 1st yr high school. nagdarken sya.
so what i did was, nagpa-sensi peel ako sa House of Obagi. derma mismo ang gumagawa. :)
then laser hair removal ng hairpits. :) pumuti. and halos wala ng hair. parang manipis pa sya sa baby hair. hehe
but better daw if you do laser hair removal muna then chemical peel. :)

derma said kasi na skin peeling is suggested lalo na at long time user ka ng deo. naiipon kasi yung chemicals ng deo sa UA, causing it to darken.

House of Obagi also has a deo na P450 yata per bottle. matagal sya gamitin, and walang amoy. basa na ng pawis ang buong katawan mo, UA mo tuyo pa din. :)

i availed yung sensi peel nila 2 years ago. try ko muna 1 session. di ko na maalala price. ;p
i just called them today. 1 session is P2400. may ongoing promo 4+2, P9600 within 1 year pwede gamitin. 1 month naman ang intervals ng bawat session. pwedeng deferred payment for 3 months when you pay with bdo, bpi, rcbc credit cards. :)
effective talaga sya. and mas magandang gawin ang peeling after ng laser hair removal. kasi nakakadarken ng UA ang shaving. :)

go sis! ako, i had 6 sessions din. 4+2 pero that time ata around 7k lang nun. nalessen din ang chicken skin. tsaka hindi dry yung skin. kasi nga all the chemical deposits were removed. :)

pang ilang session mo na nga LHR? you can do sensi peel alternately naman with LHR. at least 2 weeks apart. kaya nga lang, 2 weeks apart lang din ang gastos. hehe
