^ hi.  I have a question on DLA.  Would you know kung what time ang sched ng grade 3 and 4?  We're from Dasma, but we're considering transferring them in DLA.  Though medyo malayo sa house, malapit naman sa shop namin sa puregold molino, so pwedeng ihatid and sunduin ni hubby everyday.  sana pasok sa sched namin mag asawa yung time nila sa school.  i hope someone could reply.  sensya na, wala pa ko time pumasyal sa DLA, but hopefully this week or next week.  Thanks :)

Hi mga sis! Ask ko lang po sana if some of you knows any learning center/preschools that is affordable here in meadowood executive village bacoor cavite. Have a tight budget for my kid, so the brackets would be from 15k-20k only for its tuition fee. Looking forward to see your suggestions soon. Thanks a lot.

Hi mommyonsale  :) I got to visit the Harrell Horne today and I'm happy with the result. First, the medium of instruction is English except for Filipino and Sibika classes (That would be introduced to Kinder and Prep) and since they are implementing the K to 12 Program--Mother Tongue will be given emphasis on the said levels. Second, they have two sessions (8:00-10:00/10:15-12:15 for Nursery, 7:30 - 10:30/10:45-1:45 for Kinder & Prep).Third, TF is far different with Statesfields and DLA its Php 26,000 excluding books which is around 2,500 - 3,000 (not bad at all) since they have payment schemes( Cash, Installment). Fourth, facilities are competitive. I asked about the Reggio Emilia approach, which Teacher Luisa have said that they have implemented last school year 2012-2013. They partially implemented it because parents in the Philippines have a different orientation when it comes to preschool education unlike in Italy. They even do differentiated instruction, going out in the field (they have a grassy area), learning by doing by John Dewey which I can say is progressive in nature. We're going back after the Holy Week for assessment with a minimal fee of Php 350. Visit the school so you may also have your own opinion about them.  ;)

^ yes, i heard good feedbacks from harrel horne from those who inquired even last year pa. the school does indeed sound promising. they are 'progressive' in a sense that they are 'updated' to the other learning structures. i think they even have business classes in highschool, and mandarin in highschool as well. not sure though.

we would love to hear personal school experience with harrel horne. sayang din yung matitipid ng mga mommies, and for us to be acquianted personally with how they teach.  8)

i hope your child blooms amazingly there at harrel horne.  :)

Next year pa mag-3y/o baby ko. But as early as now im preparing and searching for a good school. Sis KV, feedback sa DLA. Im from imus but im willing to send my daughter to molino kung talagang maganda school. EOP ba sa DLA?

Edit: westhill pala eh christian school. Might consider them din. :)

^mejhez: Unfortunately, hindi EOP sa DLA. I thought english on campus din sila, but no. I just didn't take that to heart, because my son will be at Prep next year, and he needs to know Tagalog for Sibika classes, kesa naman ipa-tutor ko pa sya for that lang di ba?

Mas English only policy ata sa Statesfield, I'm just not sure, but its a progressive-method school. It's a good school as well. High in academic ranking as well.

EOP sa St. Edward Integrated, inside Lancaster Estate near Kawit. I know they have schoolbuses for Imus area. From the nun that I talked with at DLSU-Taft, it is the only La-Salle supervised school in Cavite. They have a cheaper tuition fee than DLA and Statesfield.  Try to inquire, at least, may time ka pa.

^I'm not sure though, parang hindi for all subjects. I remember the comment of his teacher in Reading, that when the teacher was giving the instructions in English, only baby understood and nodded, and the other kids were blank-faced. Although when I talk with the other kids naman, they do understand, but I haven't been there long enough to really 'observe'. What's important for me though is for them to learn good English and good Tagalog, no slang words in between.

Kung titingnan sa photos nila puro activities which I don't know Kung maganda ba ang turo... As of now yan Lang yung malapit sa Amin at napuntahan ko personally... Please give me feedback po... Thank you...

sis mommyonsale: same tayo ng reaction sa Harrel Horne sis. :) Impressive yung pre-school facilities nila 'no and talagang attractive sa bata (especially yung parang wading pool).
