MIMS Philippines (upon registration/sign up).
"Medical and gynecological examination should be performed before starting Trust Pill."
"Special Precautions: Before taking hormonal contraceptives, the woman should undergo an appropriate medical examination and her medical history should be carefully evaluated. Regular examination is recommended during use." -MIMS "Caution use if there is diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, varicose veins, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, migraine, ophthalmological problems and tetany." -MIMS "Contraindications: Women with liver and clotting disorders, breast and cervical cancer, sickle cell anemia, hormone-active tumors, hyperlipidemia, severe cardiovascular diseases, previous or existing thromboembolic diseases and idiopathic jaundice. Women with newborn babies should not use the tablet when breastfeeding."
"Mechanism of Action: Trust Pill is a low-dose monophasic contraceptive pill. Each tablet contains a minimum amount of contraceptive substances, thus the risk of side effects is greatly reduced.
Para sa karagdagang impormasyon tungkol sa dosage ng totoong contraceptive, panoorin ang You Tube video na, How "The Pill" works as an Abortifacient sa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiCU46_lWeE"ATC Classification: G03AA07 - levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol ; Belongs to the class of progestogens and estrogens in fixed combinations. Used as systemic contraceptives."
"Mechanism of Action: Trust pill stops ovulation, thins the lining of the uterus and thickens the cervical mucus. In combination, these actions prevent pregnancy." -MIMS
"...side effects eg, headaches, gastric upsets, nausea, vomiting, impaired appetite, breast tenderness, slight changes in body weight and libido, depressive moods, or interference with liver functions."
"Estimates of Mortality from Contraceptive Use: One study gathered data from a variety of sources which have estimated the mortality rate associated with different methods of contraception at different ages (Table 3). These estimates include the combined risk of death associated with contraceptive methods plus the risk attributable to pregnancy in the event of method failure." - NIH.gov

You're right about the pills. I've been taking pills for 5 to 6 yrs and no side effects were felt, but that's what I thought.. not until after 6 yrs, nakaroon ng stones sa gall bladder ko at kailangan tanggalin kaagad due to complications. As per the Dr, taking pills is one of the reasons daw kaya I stopped it at once. We are now using natural method for 2 yrs na so ok naman. hindi pa ako nabubuntis
