We started not letting my baby girl wear diapersa during daytime when she was 18mos.old, now 26 months old na sya ganun pa din weewee ng weewee kung saan saan, naimodel na ng kapwa kids sa kanya to wewee on the wewee seat, ayaw talaga, sadyang ayaw sundin, also poopoo! Haynakuuuu ewan ko kung matututo pa sya if hayaan ko lang sya na mag kusa na magsabi at umupo. The wewee seat is just inside our room, na itry ko na din ilagay yun sa cr, no epek.

hi i already post my comment here year ago, i follow some advices and advises here in sp, eg. sit down ur 6mos old baby and i also research how to motivate my daughter.  NOw, Eliah is 2yo and she really good.  she pee and poo poo on her potty chair but when i around i let her to do it in CR.

payo ko lang sa mga mommy na bibili ng potty chair, better buy one na hindi po di screw.  i bought one worth 1.6k for eliah that has switch for music and u will just assemble it with its built in screw.  she used it for just 4mos...all built in screw loosen.  her second potty chair bought in SM for only 399 and she still uses it (almost 1 and haf year na) its simple potty chair and can be use as stool..

tinabi ko n lang yung lumang potty chair niya pra mgamit ng next baby ko ...di kc pwed un pg mabigat na unlike yung 2nd kong binili kahit matanda pwede.

as in 4 months old??? eh di ba kargahin pa yung ganung age? pano nyo sha mapapaupo sa toilet bowl?or u will bring your baby sa cr karga mo sha then you will wait until maihi sha?

Infant Potty Training
« Reply #246 on: March 16, 2011, 02:52:35 pm »

mommies, have you heard of infant potty training? It is potty training your babies even from birth. You can choose to go diaper-free on your babies! You only need to be in tune with your babies' cues as to when he/shee poops, pees then put her/him on a potty or the toilet seat.

I haven't done it yet but i have read several articles on it. My baby is only 8 months and i want to start her on potty training. I have a lot of questions to anyone who has already done or doing this.

Has anyone tried this? Is it effective? How do you go about it - is you baby totay diaper-free? Did you have to buy a potty trainer/seat?

After I reviewed this link
http://fabnaima.blogspot.com/2010/06/potty-training-naima.html

thanks for the link!

i'm at home with my baby so we can enforce this during the day. just today, i was able to bring baby to the toilet to poop. we still dont have potty trainer/seat. i have yet to figure out her pee face so i can bring her when she pees. she usually does upon waking from sleep but during her play time.. cant see it yet.

we're currently using cloth diapers. i dont know if i should change to training pants... but i don;t think we can find a size for 8 months old. the smallest i saw was for 18 mos.

Hi :) nice topic. We started potty training after ng first birthday ng daughter ko. I just bought a seat yung pinapatong sa toilet na mismo tapos hinahawakan namin sya pag inuupo namin sya don. And pampers easy ups training pants. Every 30 we sit her down sa seat then make the 'wshwshwshwsh' sound. At first syempre hindi pa niya gets then everytime na umiihi sya we say to her na what she did was weewee then samething with poopoo. After about a month siguro she got the hang of it nakakasay na sya ng weewee and poopoo. From then on we used panty na. First year diaper free sya daytime only. Nung nag 2 sya tinrain na namin sya pag gabi. Now she's totally diaper free.. Bawas gastos.. Hehe

mommyjiing, thanks for sharing. we do make the sound for poo-ing so our baby would learn to associate the sound and hopefully in the future she can sound off and tell us when it;s time. she's very vocal now so i hope she can catch on.

hi mod Tiger Lily... sorry for the confusion. i was referring to this specific topic of Infant Potty Training (as opposed to conventional potty training during the toddler years:

"This practice is followed worldwide and is known as Elimination Communication, Natural Infant Hygiene, and Infant Potty Training. The process involves observing one's baby's signs and signals, providing cue sounds and elimination-place associations, and can be done with or without any diaper use.

Elimination Communication (EC) is NOT potty training. It is a gentle, natural, non-coercive process by which a baby, preferably beginning in early infancy, learns with the loving assistance of parents and caregivers to communicate about and address his or her elimination needs. This practice makes conventional potty training unnecessary." (quoted from www.diaperfreebaby.org)

But I guess it could still fall under here :D
