^haaay. salamat. supporting role na lang ako dito. hehe....just in case, my supervisor is busy, or at some far-flung vacation spot. hehe.

@simple_momkulit: we're so proud that you've done your research and gone to the next level ---- asked from dole. if, the deliberations from hr, turned out to be in your favor, could you please post the reply from DOLE, so that other moms could be similarly guided, and we might help all other solo parent with the info.

thanks! keep this forum posted sis.

Hi Sis!

I was referred to the HR manager, when I had a dispute before sa tax ko, I sent him an email, he replied, and naayos naman agad. I suggest asking for the contact information ng HR manager nyo, sabihin mo na you are having this dilemma for a while na, and sana maayos the soonest time. Kase karapatan mo naman ito as an employee, that it is not any of your intention to make their work any harder, but sana naman, i-assist ka nila with this.

as earlier posted, gray area kasi yung query mo eh. pwedeng oo, pwedeng hindi. on the part of the employers, syempre, dapat hindi. additional cost yun for them. mawawalan ng employee for one week.

your "pangungulit" should have a non-threatening balance. employers and hr are quick to "take note" of "difficult/over eager" employees. naka-warning sign na yun sa mind nila...so insist, but gently persist.

goodluck sis.  ;)

im back again im still fighting for this.. mag 1mnth na din since ma forward koa ng email from dole to our hr, evryday ako nagfollow up but still same ssbhn wala pang feedback will give you feedback pag meron na. ang sb ang lawyer ng company namin ang nakikipag coordiante to dole para ma confirm nga to. my question is ganun ba katagal ang cooridantion ng lawyer sa dole, ako nga mismo naghintay ako ng 15 days bago bgay sakin yun letter, what more pa sila lawyer na yun and for sure lam niya kung ano ang law about single parent.

my question what will be my next step on this.ayoko naman mag reklamo at ipa-dole sila... lam nyo namana ng iba company maya paginitan ka...

hello mga moms!

im enjoying the additional 7 days of vacation leave because of this act.
please be reminded that this is +7 every year.
so better ask your HR head for this. this is our right.

mga mommies sa pagkakabasa ko makukuha mo yung other benefits if pasok ka sa Net income na sinasabi nila. How much po ba yung income dapat para makuha mo yung benefits sa housing, education, etc.

Hello parents,

I would like to know regarding employment status, I have been a casual employee in a government agency for almost 11 years, does the R.A. 8972 can help regarding the employment status of a solo parent?

Thank you.

good day! i'm under a month with my current company. sayang hindi ko pa ma-avail yung add'l 7days leave because of the Section 19 (a)

Section 19. Conditions for Entitlement of Parental Leave Ė A solo parent shall be entitled to parental leave provided that:
(a) He/She has rendered at least one (1) year of service whether continuous or broken at the time of the affectivity of the Act;
(b) He/She has notified his/her employer of the availment thereof within a reasonable time period; and
(c) He/She has presented a Solo Parent Identification Card to his/her employer.
