Moms Love This Breast Pump Because It's Portable, Affordable, And Easy To Use

For those who breastfed and who are breastfeeding: Did you use manual/electric breastpumps? What brand is the most effective? I bought Medela Swing single electric pump for a bargain in the states. Question is ok ba sya?

Yes OK siya. That's what I've been using. I think I broke mine because I keep on covering the air hole with my finger to silence it. Ayan, mahina na ang suction. Don't make the same mistake  :(

to save time i bought a pigeon electric breast pump (P1,900.00) and a pigeon manual pump (P3,000.00).  When I'm home I use both simultaneously and in less than 15 minutes I'm done expressing 6-9oz. of milk.  When I go out, I just bring the manual pump with me and I strike anywhere. : )

yup mas mahal ang manual breastpump ng pigeon than its electric kasi their manual is a new model.  I bought both kasi bilib ako sa logic ng medela na simultaneous pumping on both breasts but you have to shell out 34k for this.  kaya ok na ako sa pigeon, it serves the purpose and a lot cheaper.  I got mine at SM department store baby's section

I also had pigeon, I didn't like it though. Manual lang kasi yung binili ko, ang hirap gamitin nakakangawit sa kamay kaya si hubby ang nagppump for me pa. Should have had yung electric.

I use NUK electric breastpump and in a day napump ko lang is 4oz!! does this mean my milk supply is low or my pump is not good? How frequent b dapat pump ako in a day? help pls advise, i wish to breastfeed my baby until 1 yr old or more siya m afraid baka matuyuan me milk??

hi mommy gaby!  Your frequency in expressing milk is a determinant on the volume of your milk.  Nung stable na ang milk supply ko (at around 3 months), after expressing for around 6 times a day, nag settle nako sa 3x a day.  Big factor talaga ang kind of pump that you are using.  Me kasi kaya ganun kadami ang na express kong milk is because I use 2 breast pumps simultaneously.  I used Pigeon kasi its the most affordable na for its kind but I have a friend who used Medela Pump in Style at grabe ang Milk Supply niya compared to when she was using Pigeon.  Remarkable daw talaga ang difference. She exclusively breastfeeds her baby at may excess pa. Its really expensive pero if you try to compute pag bumili ka ng formula milk  at an average of P750/can , bawi ka na din if you breatsfeed for 10 months.  I hope I was able to help. :)

hi momjen, I also used avent manual bpump. I am satified too but have to replace the little white valve 3 times last year. Di ko alam kung madali ba talaga masira yun or na-over used yung pump ko. Would you know kung saan pwede bumili ng parts lang?

For Gaby, you may want to try drinking warm water before/during expressing your milk. Sabi daw ng OB ng isang officemate ko, makakatulong daw yun. Ako, I only drink warm water at the office, I was able to express milk 6oz and up even for 15 mins lang.

hi. i use SPECTRA breastpump i bought it directly sa supplier for 8500 lang and dual pump na sya tapos sa bahay I have a hand me down avent manual pump kaso sira na kaya naghahanap ako ng manual pump na available

the Spectra pump has a carrying bag, storage bag with ice packs, and 6 bottles. Dala dala ko sya everyday sa office and for the whole 8 hours twice lang ako nagpump i can extract 16oz the least yan eh kung I drink loads of water even while my "moo time" I still drink milk kasi natutuyuan ako ng lalamunan habang nagpump.

it helps din na nag mamalunggay supplement ako.

if you're interested sa SPectra pm me.

happy "moo" time mommies!

I am using medela swing breast pump now and my milk supply is somewhat decreasing! Also, my baby does not want to nurse with me anymore. nasanay b siya sa bottle kaya? i feel fustrated dahil everytime i offer my breast naiyak siya and she prefers to suck her fingers! I am a working mom so during weekends i try to offer her my breast always but she refuses. What can i do for her to nurse back with me. i also tried to nurse during the nights but still no success. please help ... i am in need desperately for some advise.
