Hi there mga mommies, I am new here and I want to get some information regarding pre-schools near our place.

We are from Bangkal, Makati and we are near to Gifted Child Learning Center at the back of South Star Plaza. as in walking distance lang. My daughter is turning 4 1/2 years old this June so she need to go to school na this school year.

We are also considering Twinkle Tots Learning Center.

Hope you can help us where to send our daughter this school year.

THanks much.

hi sis^ i wouldn't want to give negative feedback to st. therese kasi jan unang nag-aral ang girls namin. t. angel, the owner, is really very kind and accomodating. what saddened me and my hubby was that the school exceeded their allowed no. of students per class. dahil sobra ang students, parang masikip yung classroom kasi 2 classes are sharing one room tapos sa bench lang seated ang kids. another thing, medyo hindi organized ang activities nila. yun bang kulang sa plano at preparation. but this was our experience 2 years ago.. hopefully the school has improved already. academically speaking, ok naman sila.

Hi Mommy Robinemz,

I have to say na until now, ganyan pa din ang system. Hindi sila organized. Currently enrolled kami sa summer program nila. Nakaka disappoint iyong class set up. Though they one teacher na okay. Medyo madami nga ang students in a class like 15. Hindi masyadong nama manage ng T. Angel ang class niya.

Hello mommies.. Anybody who will enroll their kids in Little Smart Reader Kids in San Antonio Village? I have just reserved a slot for my 3+ years old son there. Any feedback regarding the school? Thanks po. :)

hi mommy! school ng daughter ko ang smart readers nursery1 siya or they call it s4 but sad to say she did not flourish sa school so  i decided to transfer her to kids playlab in san antonio village din. i am trying progressive type of teaching sakanya kasi sa smart readers talagang puro reklamo ang naririnig ko like my daughter does not want to listen or to follow instructions. may incident pa one time that my daughter fell from the chair and hit her head sa floor, and sa yaya lang ng anak ko sinabi, they did not even bother to call the parents to inform, i immediately brought her sa makati med as soon as i arrived from work, i called the school ang sabi sakin nasalo daw ng teacher yung head before it hits the ground, pero may bukol, sad to say, all i heard is just an apology. sabi ko pa, i hope that you will call the parents and not the yaya, ang sagot sakin "next time po" so nag eexpect pa sila ng incident na ganun ulit.

sa lahat ng teachers dalawa lang ang fluent sa english, si teacher weng at teacher rot, the rest i cannot comment. so i don't mind paying over 20k more of what i paid in smart readers basta alam ko lang na natutukan ang anak ko.

one more thing, araw araw sobrang dami nilang assignments. ang ending ako lang ang gumagawa kasi na-stressed na anak ko. i had this conversation with another mom through pm nga lang kasi OT na kapag dito kami nag usap. parehong pareho kami ng experiences.

Hi mommy robinemz and mommy ichabod,

nabasa ko yung feedbacks nyo about the school, sabi ni t. angel 1:13 ang class ratio pero lumalagpas pala sila. ngayon palang na disappoint na ko s school na yun.  diba meron daw nag aassist sa mga kids durng their class? do they have a graduation day? ano bang mga events ang ginagawa nila sa school??

sis ichabod, sad to hear naman na ganun pa rin ang condition dun. i hope someone from the school could read our feedbacks. i agree na there is one good teacher there that stands out from the rest, si t. ellen ata yung name niya. the one in charge of prep.

sis malousabio, yes that is what t. angel told us before we enrolled our kids. kaso di sila strict sa no. of students. ok lang sana kung kaya i-accomodate ng classroom, ng seats, at ng teacher and the t.aid yung no of students diba.. may t. aid pero marami ang 15 for preschool esp kung sa toddler or nursery/k1 class yan.

they have the usual events naman kaso like what i said hindi well planned. isa sa di ko malimutan yung christmas party. requirement was to come in uniform pero come event day some students were not in uniform. tapos magulo ang program parang bang 1 day lang napraktis. yung food kikiam at juice lang ata yun or may isa pa. to think na christmas yun.. sana they requested kids na lang to bring food to share para parang pot luck na lang. we settled the graduation fee but did not attend the graduation na kasi nadidisappoint kami on every occassion..
