Per day kasi ang charge sa akin noon (3 years ago) and I pay monthly. I don't remember paying any fixed tuition. Kung meron man, I guess poor na memory ko. ;)

hi sis! ask ko lang po if may alam kayo na play school within Makati lang? haven't read the entire thread yet pero parang napansin ko na puro pre-schools na lahat nandito. Meron ba mga playschool for 2 yrs old na mas mura than Gymboree and Kindermusik. Plan ko sana inenrol ang bagets ko. Thanks! :)

Try Smart Explorers (G/F Libran House Legazpi St. Corner Rufino), they have toddler classes (one hour includes storytelling and playtime).  They offer free trial class so you can see before you decide.  I only attended the trial but didnt push thru with enrollment.

I'm not sure where exactly in Makati you want but in Legazpi Village, they were the most reasonable I found with the best facilities (clean, new, etc).

^ hi sis! thanks for your reply. my son is exactly 1.9 months old now and I saw one post of a mom here na they tried yung playcare of Little Archers in MOA. I will try it first just to see how my son will respond to the environment of having other kids around him. pansin kasi namin na if with other kids, he tends to shy away. nagpapabuhat na lang. only baby pa lang kasi sya sa bahay. maybe will try Little Archers for 1 month (4 Saturdays perhaps because yun lang ang off namin ni hubby from work and ayoko naman na sila lang ni yaya ang andun sa learning center, given also that yaya is a bit old already, di ko maiiwasan magworry habang nasa work.)

Would you know if Smart Explorers have "every Saturday" schedule only? Since my baby is still so young pa naman for a structured/formal schooling, gusto ko sana learn-while-you-play lang ang approach. I have already inquired with Kindermusik and P9750 ang fee nila for 15-weeks session with 45 minutes/session lang. I am comparing it to the yearly tuitions posted here and I can see na mas mura pag nakaannual na (although of course, I think, my son is too young pa for a continuous 10-months schooling approach. hehe.)

by the way, we live in Palanan (Cash and Carry Mall) area so if nearer our place, the better. I can consider weekday schedules if sobrang malapit lang sa bahay namin. tia. :)

Hi mommies! Meron ba sa inyo naginquire sa little clarion learning center in makati? Along jupiter street yta. Ano feedback nyo? Sinuggest kasi ng cousin ko yun kaso pag binabasa ko yung thread wala naman nabanggit about sa little clarion. Bago lang ba sila? Thanks!

^^sis momeekai, from what I remember, smart explorers have weekday classes only.  And since you want to be there with your son during his play & learn classes (ako rin ganito dati - hehe), better option sayo ang mga nasa mall because they have more classes during weekends.  And at least makikita mo ang anak mo perform various activities.  Cute sila tingnan at that age. hehe

Hindi naman nagkakalayo ang rate ng Smart Explorers sa Kindermusik (but Kindermusik has been existing for a few years na).  And hindi rin gaano convenient puntahan ang SmartExp from Palanan on a weekday.  This is if you prefer walking distance or accessible by one short ride public transpo.

Closed na po Little Archers sa MOA. Yung dating spot nila part na ng Robot Zoo. Dunno if they moved somewhere.

Hi parents, I am currently looking for a good preschool for my 2 years old and 7 months old son. I am a single mother working outside the country. Sister ko lang ang nag aalaga sa baby ko but i always make sure I am always updated to his activities. Kindly help me naman to look for a good school for my baby. He loves puzzles, medyo shy type daw sa ibang tao. I need a school na accessible and safe at di bahain. I will just ask my sister to have an occular visit but i will help them by finding out from any recommended good schools from this forum para mabilis ang paghahanap and I can also prepare my son in going to school. Its his first time going to school and would really wanted the best for him. Thank you so much mommies and daddies!

we had trial classes on both schools (KIDS & Kids Playlab) and base on my readings, quality of education is of the same level for these two, besides both of them are progressive naman. however, we placed our reservation at KIDS because of the following:

- i like the set-up of the place, more homey since first time ng daughter mgformal/daily schooling
- i like the play area
- the teachers at KIDS are more accommodating, super nice ni Teacher Mina
- almost the same lang ang tf, pero mas mababa ng konte sa KIDS

isip muna ku ng iba!  :D

hope this helps...

thanks. we already paid for reservation at KIDS for my son's summer class coz it's homey nga un atmosphere para di sya mabigla, and for sy june2013-march2014 we reserved at Kids playlab, because there's no more slot for the morning class at KIDS for the next schoolyear. We had trial class on both schools and i think it's really the same, we like both schools. but we enrolled at playlab din kasi mas malapit kami and  para di kami magwori pag tag-ulan, i am sure kasi na di binabaha sa area ng playlab and yung facilities niya rin ok. :)

^hapimomi what age na ng kid mo? we are planning also to transfer my incoming kinder daughter to playlab this coming school year.
nakapag trial class na kami last year pero inenroll ko siya sa Smart Readers, kaso traditional sila, araw araw may assignment, nakakainis na kung minsan. haha
saka more on progressive dapat approach sa daughter ko kasi may pagka stubborn.

hi! ceejhei, my son is 3yr-3mo old. :)

My daughter went to KIDS for 2 yrs. Ok naman dun, lots of activities. Theres field trip every month. My daughter loved it there she wants to go back heheh.. for level 1 they wer 6 students. Level 2 they were 10. Both pm sections.

After 2 yrs we decided to send her to big school. She took exams in st scho, st paul pasig, hope makati and assumption san lo. She passed all exams. Late examinees na rin nga kami pero we were considered in all the schools. She is now kinder in assumption san lo and will be grade 1 come june (k-12)

I suggest u visit the place. Kahit anong research online ang gawin nayin iba pa tin yung nakita mo mismo yung place.

Imho 60k-ish tuition ng kids is mahal bec in st scho nasa 60-70k din ang preschool.

When u go to kids look for teacher mina sya yung parang owner/administrator. My daughter so loved her teachers there-teacher may (level1) and tracher joan (level2 ) lagi niya naalala bigyan ng pasalubong or gift.

Try also their trial class (free) or summer class nasa 2-3k yun  mwf or m-f not sure. Pero sulit rin yun kasi entertaining sa mga kids.
