from cubao, sakay ka na lang ng LRT 2 up to Recto, tapos sa ilalim may mga jeep papunta monumento, MCU, Gasak or Navotas, sakay ka alin man dun tapos sabihin u blumentritt, baba sa blumentritt LRT 1 station, tapos tricycle ka na lang, kamo chinese gen.  puwede din naman lakarin kasi malapit lang un nga lang palengke ng blumentritt un lalakaran mo...

magbabago pa yung pf niya siguro pag normal. Binase ko kasi sa'kin c section kasi ako sa kanya.
sadly pag normal mababa lang ang kaltas ng Philhealth parang 2,500 lang ata sis

dra. valen is super maasikaso. first time mom ako and i gave birth october of last year..  Was able to have
normal delivery kahit my baby was 3.529kgs (konti nalang 8 lbs na baby ko!!)..
 i used my philhealth and yes, 2,500 lang ang nbawas.
semi private room. 6k ang PF niya.. bale around 20k to 21k hospital bills ko all in na kasi PF ng pedia, nursery fee, etc..
super nirrecommend ko nga sya sa mga naghahanap ng OB.

Hi mga mommies! For those na ob si dra sangalang or dra zamora, sumasagot po ba sila sa calls or text messages kahit anong time or day? Balak ko kasi lumipat ng ob. I'm on my 6th month and my current ob is also affiliated with CGH. Ok naman sya kaso di lang ako ganun kakampante sa kanya. Di mashado masagot sa text messages. yung isang beses, tumawag ako kasi nagspotting ako. She requested na call or text ako during clinic hours kasi di niya kabisado records ko. Better na nasa clinic daw sya para macheck niya records ko at mabigay ang appropriate action for me. I understand naman kaso i felt na she' s not really that concerned di ba...

Kaya now, am thinking of transferring either to dra sangalang or dra zamora dahil ok feedback nila dito. They seem to be doctors na accommodatinh an concerned talaga sa patients nila...

hi sis, you may also try DRA. ELENA CO-YAP. she's very good, i find her not so typically friendly doc but in fact she is very accomodating especially to our concerns as buntis. she could seat down with you until you finish expressing all your concerns, she shares do's and don'ts for confused mom's (like me before hehe) also she helps/ rather open in discussing with you all the expenses you may have pag manganganak ka na..going 6 months na ako nung lumipat ako sa kanya, she was referred to me ng mga SP mom din..and no regret, her staff all accomodating sa hospital, i did not find any regretful moment with her. if i were to get pregnant, will definitely go back to her. she did some favor to me din (health concerns) that i always remember her for..she did it for free, where in fact would cost me a lot pag pinagawa ko yun sa iba..sya pa nganag-offer kasi siguro na-feel niya na wala akong pera for that..naawa na lang sya kasi as doctor she knew it need to be fixed, and she did it for free instead para magamot lang ako.. kaya naman she's the best OB to find..she can be found sa dapitan at chinese gen.. God bless sis..

@ iyahkin: yes pwede kang lumipat .. ako nga 6 months na nung lumipat sknya eh.. okay naman syang ob and yung staff niya super accomodating ..

mababa lang rin ang price ng packages niya lalo na pag covered ka ng philhealth .. okay din ang PF niya..


I just gave birth nung april 5 via CS , and I will tell you na mafefeel mo na okay talaga sya na ob .. goodluck sis!

Hi sis! Ask ko lang, mahigpit ba siya? I mean conservative in a way na hindi siya pumapayag magtravel yung patient niya? 5months and 1 week akong preggy and my ob is Dra. Helen Serrano, also from Chinese General. I'll be flying on Saturday (Sep10) kaso she didn't allow me. Okay naman pregnancy ko, walang prob. I had my ultrasound, lab tests, and an injection which unfortunately I forgot what it is for. Do you think it's okay na lumipat ako sa kanya and she'll allow me to go on board?

hi sis! i really dont know if pumapayag siya . but u can call her at her clinic and ask her staff there specifically ate evelyn. sbhin mo lang na plan mo lumipat kay dra then ask mo din if ever ppyagan ka ba na magtravel. if sbi eh pnta ka s clinic niya bring all the necessary records ayun. sana payagana ka sis parang nabasa ko yata na need mo talaga mag-travel for your studies (?). tawag ka na lang sa chinese then pa-connect ka sa clinic ni Dra. Valen-Co.

Yes, need ko talaga siya sis. Gusto ko na kasi talaga makagrad ng March. If it's not necessary, hindi ko naman ipipilit. Thanks btw. Will call her clinic as soon as possible. Thanks again!

Assuming there's still no changes, NSD with her would only be P27,000 (33.5k less 6.5k) kasi Philhealth fix deduction for NSD is P6500 na. Ang saya! Sana hindi pa sila nagtaas PF. Onti na lang, sya na yata magwiwin sa search ko hehe. Yung layo na lang talaga from Cubao ang prob ko.

Question pala sis, parang hindi nabanggit sa quote sa taas yung Pedia fee,& new born screening? Kasama na rin pala diyan yung hospital bills? Thanks!

Hi mga sis! I went to Dra. Valen Co just this evening. Okay naman so far. I'm already 6 months pregnant but she still accepted me. My first Ob Gyne was Dra. Helen Serrano who is from CGH also. Maganda sa clinic ni Dra. Co kasi sa New Bldg siya ng ChiGen. The thing is, medyo mahaba yung pila unlike kay Dra. Serrano. When we (my bf and I) came, number 22 na ko sa listahan. So nagdecide kami ni bf na kumain muna saglit. When we got back, I think within 5-10 mins tinawag na ko ng assistant niya. Actually, I already had an ultrasound and lab tests. Pero yung result ng lab test ko, siya una nakakita. My concern kasi is ayaw ako payagan ni Dra. Serrano to travel (refer to my post here in SmartParenting). Dra. Co found out that I am anemic and I have UTI based on my lab tests. But then she gave me a 7-day medication for my UTI. I was so glad to hear when she said that she will allow me to travel if after the medication, I go back to her and the result will get better. That was better because with Dra. Serrano, she only gave me a plain NO. Just to compare the two OB's, refer to this:

* no long lines
* 9am-12am siya nasa ChiGen
* my bf's sister gave birth under her for two times (both normal), and my bf's brother's gf is her patient too at this point of time
* mabait naman siya kaya lang medyo strict
* I can say magaling and kilala din siya.
* di ko sure kung magkano yung exact na consultation fee niya kasi di ko tinatanong and whenever we pay, may kasama ng vitamins pero tantya namin nasa 600 (correct this info if I'm wrong)



DRA. CO
* expect to wait because of the number of patients she have
* 5pm-8pm (nasa ChiGen siya so convenient for those who have work)
* palabiro siya so medyo mas comfortable ako kausap siya
* she gives you an option on every concern you have but take note, EVERYTHING IS AT YOUR RISK so it's always up to you in the end
* consultation fee is 200.. i just don't know how much for succeeding ones kasi ngayon ko pa lang natry sa kanya
* 2 friendly assistants



Honestly, di ko alam kung babalik pa ko kay Dra. Serrano or itutuloy ko na kay Dra. Co. Will seek for advice pa rin. Kasi there are some certain factors pa that I have to consider. And isa na dun yung cost of birth ko. It so happened kasi that my my EDD is on December, a month na puro gastos. But all in all, both doctors are great!

The anesthesiologist PF is for painless delivery ba? how about the cost of the epidural mismo na iiinject ng anesthesiologist?

Siguro naman cheaper ang PF ni Dra. Valen pag normal, kasi the 10k mentioned by one sis here was for CS... How much kaya talaga ang PF niya pag normal?
