hello mommies!

new member ako, currently 21 weeks pregnant sa first baby. i need recommendations po in choosing hospital to give birth, at this early stage. hehe i want to be prepared :D

sa bacoor ako nakatira, near imus na rin. bago lang ako nakatira dito so i'm not that familiar with the hospitals na ok ang services. konti lang din ang kakilala ko dito. nakabasa na ako ng mga kalat kalat na mga reviews sa ibang thread. i opted to create a new thread para s mga taga cavite. hehe. usually kc mga taga manila yung mga sagot, ang hirap maghanap ng para sa cavite :D so i hope makatulong ito sa mga mommies from cavite =).

nung last checkup sa OB, nagtanong n ako ng mga ospital na recommended niya. she said MCI at Imus Family. I asked her about Our Lady of Pillar, ok din daw dun halos same price ng MCI.

Here's the thing... may mga nabasa na kasi akong mga comments about sa not so good service sa MCI based sa mga experience nila. and i heard na wala daw resident OB dun sa MCI. So after that, it gives me only 2 options, Imus Family at Our Lady of Pillar. Any comments and recommendations po? Kahit ibang hospitals din.

Yung sister in law ko nanganak sa DLSU medical center. kaso late ko na nalaman na yung OB ko hindi pala accredited dun. so isa pang iniisip ko eh, kung ok talaga sa DLSU MC, ok lang ba magpalit p ako ng OB na accredited sa DLSUMC at this stage of my pregnancy?

so right now, eto yung mga concerns ko in searching for a hospital, which i think naman hanap ng lahat:
1. reasonable price
2. maasikasong staff
3. ok na facilities
4. with resident OB
5. with good reviews :D

thanks in advance po. =)

hi sis,

hi momsie..wer ka in bacoor?ako along molino road near SM..before i was really in the same boat like you..nahirapan din ako maghanap ng kung saan ba talaga ako manganganak.until we've decided na magUPHR medical center..dahil minimum of 80k ang package ng CS, my OB na si Dra. Hayag adviced me na sa Molino Doctors na lang ako on my D-day..goodthing resident din siya sa molino doctors na inabot lang ako ng 60k at nabawasan pa kc may philhealth at HMI card ako kaya around 30++lang ang cash out ko.
Along molino road lang din ang Molino doctors, community hospital pero mas relaxed ang naging experience ko while we where there kc wala naman ako kasabayan during the operation.
good luck sis, sana may ma-consider kina rin na hospital for u and ur baby =)

My OB is Dra. Shes kind and maalaga. She has the patience to answer all the question na concern ng expecting mom. You can even ask discounts sa PF niya. About my experience sa DLSUMC, well okay naman from room, facilities and staff okay naman lahat. They have resident OB and Pedia.
But overall rating..ok naman ang DLSUMC, sulit naman yung money and sure ka na you and your baby is in good hands.

i gave birth in dlsu med. we paid 57k for normal delivery. my OB is dr. orlino. i had a very good experience from the time that i checked in to the time i went home. madami interns dun but when i gave birth, wala naman akong nakitang pakalat-kalat sa delivery room. ang nag-asikaso din sa akin sa ER residents. malinis yung room. i stayed in a private room with tv, ref and ac. a few times a day nililinis ng janitress yung room. complete ang equipments and accessible to shops, drugstores and fastfood chains so if you need anything even late at night madali lang for your family. my husband was confined there too a few months ago for 5 days and we never had a single complaint. naging friends na namin yung nurses.

molino doctors hospital is also okay. dun nanganak daughter-in-law ng OB ko. cord coil pa so CS operation agad. accredited OB ko dun and may clinic siya dun.
