feeding a 9 month old baby
« Reply #30 on: February 26, 2011, 04:48:51 am »

hi I just wanted to ask what can you suggest na pwede ng ipakain sa baby ko?He is turning 9 months on March which is few days na lang from now. He is eating Creleac stage 2 now pero minsan sinasamanhan ko ng Gerber at least buys him 2 varieties. Before I let him eat ripe mangoes and banana kaso constipate sya sa banana but he likes it very much. Carrots and Kalabasa,di niya masyadong beat maybe because of the texture, Also apple he doesn't like pero pag Gerber fave niya pero yung natural ayaw niya.
Please help kasi feeling ko I'm not giving him enough nutrition for his age.
Thanks!

hi sis,

baby ko din mag 9 months na.. She's into cerelac.. iba ibang flavor and twice a day ko siya kung pakainin..

(yung over cooked.. haha) kasi nadudurog ko with matching egg pa.. hehe.. kaya ulam namin laging overcooked.. para madaling durugin.. hehe

try mixing veggies sa cerelac. like boiled mashed carrots sa cerelac.
the bananas, do not give the baby ordinary bananas. wag yung mga dole bananas, the senorita na banana dapat.
try new fruits like papaya avocado. if its okay to mix with cerelac go ahead.
ako nga 6 months lang baby ko im giving her anything narin as long as kaya niya manamnam sa mouth,. i even give her kitkat.

Hi Jules_janice! Weight is 10.4kgs, height is 77cm (9mos)

Good luck, sis!

Sis lentorres, same tayo.

hi mommies! my twins started to eat solid food when their pedia gave the go ahead at 6 months.. before they turned 6 months kasi, we inquired from the pedia and the pedia said NO kasi their tummies are not yet ready..

the first thing they ate was cerelac and yung gerber sa jars.. eventually, they grew tired of it so we fed them na ground rice with sabaw.. pwedeng beef, chicken or pork sabaw.. pwede din sabaw vegetables..

my twins started to have solid food at 4 months advised by their pedia, so during that time gerber and cerelac ang binibigay ko sa kanila when they reached 5 months i gave them mashed potatoes. They are 6 months already and we are giving them mashed fruits and vegetables.
