Think na lang that the amount you spent is your tuition fee to learn in life kung sa tingin ko naloko ka man.

"Tuition fee" is a good investment. It s used to describe anything worth shelling out a big amount of money for something worthy of that amount. This 10K LPG safety device (according to jaronmarie) does not fit the description. It's not as reasonable as a "tuition fee". It's a rip-off. No consolation there. Having LPG safety device is essential. The way it is used in a scam is a crime.

To everyone: be advised that ordinary LPG regulator is different from the LPG safety device.

For fire safety and prevention programs, you can check with Bureau of Fire Protection in your locality or contact the Safety Services Office of PNRC.

Haaayy... Controversial ang thread na ito. I did some research people and here is what I found:

Wa-is ang gumamit ng LPG safety device kasi sa Pinas, top cause ng fire ang LPG (highest is electrical wiring). There is a proposal na gawing law ang paggamit ng LPG safety device (Net 25 news). Now the question is, magkano ba ito talaga?

It can only monitor the flow. There is a type that can shut off the flow from the tank automatically once na detect niya na wala nang flow from the stove. There is also a Lion brand guaged LPG regulator with safety feature priced at around P350.00.

Both Ace Hardware and Handyman carries the brand Sun Gas. Safety regulator daw yon.

Sun Gas safety regulators daw has a built-in safety device na anti-leakage din. It costs (depende sa type ng tangke) from P330.00 to P620.00 according to Solargas, the manufacturer. Pero sa Ace at Handyman mismo, nasa P549-P900.

There's this Filipino inventor who made his own reliable type, Mellion Traders by Mr. Melano, nasa P4,500-P6,500 depende sa LPG type. Hindi ito widely available. Direct seller sila

So I hope that helps. now we have an idea kung magkano ba talaga ang price range nitong mga safety device and please take necessary security measures kung sila ay nagpapanggap na inspector o namimilit na bilhin ninyo.

Nakabili ako ng safety device last year, it was worth 3,500 with lpg hose and a free reserve daw. So far, okey naman. Kaya lang, nakaka lula talaga ang presyo. Ganun pa man, safety nga kasi at takot talaga ako sa apoy and dahil nga kami lang ng anak ko dito sa bahay, of course, binili ko... This morning, 2 beautiful young ladies came at sabi mag su-survey daw sa PNS code ba yun? something. para daw awareness for the fire prevention month.

SIs Ej09, do you still have the reciept or contact number nung unang binilhan mo ng safety device? Kasi chances are, may after sales service sila to check kung may leak nga yung hose mo. You also did not mention kung anong brand yung una at pangalawang safety regulator mo. I saw sa sulit (now olx) na binebenta iba-ibang brand, maybe you can check kasi baka naman hindi overprice.
The question is, tama ba ang presyo at totoo bang may leak yung una mong regulator.
You may also inform your barangay na may nagpapanggap ng inspector pero seller pala at wala silang permit. Then pag bumalik na yung nagbenta sayo, call the barangay para may pumunta sa inyo at maisoli mo yung produkto nila with refund or else.
Pwede mo silang ireklamo for claiming to be inspectors and lying about the leak, but not for selling kasi it's with your knowledge na binebentahan ka at binili mo. You can also return the item with refund as a consumer. Right mo yon.

Yung una pinagbigyan kong mag-survey. naabala ako ng husto tapos in the end they're selling a safety device pala. Just now may dumating uli na magkasunod. Di daw sila nagbebenta. Next time I'll ask them to tell their companies na baguhin marketing strategy nila dahil nakakainis na at nakakaabala ang modus nila.

hi mga mommies, good day.
ECGas has it's own design of LPG regulator na may feature ng auto shut off valve kapag naka-detect ng gas leak mula sa inyong hose? ECGas can save you money plus your family is already safe.  please visit us on facebook. www.facebook.com/ecgaslopez for more informations. thanks a lot for your time reading my post.
