Hello mommy. I am a first time mommy kaya i have a lot of questions nung lumabas si baby ko which means ang dami kong natanong sa pedia ng baby ko. She recommended not to give cerelac or gerber as first food. She told me to introduce the foods one by one. So here's what I did when my son started his solid food at 6 months old.

Note: give one veggie or fruit every after 4 days to check for allergies , etc na maeexperience ni baby with the food na pinapakain.

Boil or steam them tapos i-blender para maging sobrang pino that your baby can swallow.

Sweet Potato
Potato
Squash
Sayote
Carrots

When he reached 9 months + I started giving lugaw , so I mixed 1-2 vegetables sa lugaw then un na binibigay ko sa morning until lunch. I don't feed my baby rice for dinner , milk lang baka hindi matunawan.

Nung nag 11 months old na siya, ayaw na niya sa lugaw kaya i started giving him kanin na talaga kaya maaga saing ko for my baby sa breakfast then steam lang nung mga veggies , minsan stir-fry, ginisang gulay, soup, etc.

Avoid salt , sugar and honey for babies less than 2 years old po. and you can give egg (Scrambled or hardboiled) to baby above 6 months old kasi yung egg daw ay allergens, meaning possible mag-cause ng allergy. :)

Hope this helps po!

I try to give him the food letting him to self feed pero halos ayaw niya hawakan. Ano kaya magandang gawin para matuto syang kumain ? Thank you
