And tama si sis momaye. May 4-day rule kasi para matest yung allergic reaction ni baby.

In preparing food, ano ba maganda, steamed o boiled?

hi, mommy si daddy! at six months, yes its okay muna na sa breakfast lang. after 3-5days you can make it one in breakfast and one in the afternoon. in between meals po, parang merienda gawin mo.

tama po ba intindi ko, daddy po ito but you're the one who's taking care of your baby? if dats so, i salute you! mahirap magalaga ng baby ah hehe

goodluck mommy si daddy! Godbless! :) :) :) :)

@mommy si daddy: once a day muna feeding then gradually increase it to two, then three times. wait until 3-4 days bago introduce new food to see kung may allergic reactions sya. you can go to http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/.com to have a guide. good luck!

my baby has been eating cerelac for more than a week na.. i let her tried squash kaninang lunch pero konti lang.. guess what? i think she did not like it.. because she was sticking out her tongue whenever the squash is inside her mouth..

i'll wait for the 4 day rule dahil kasi may kinain naman siya kahit na konti doon sa squash.. thank momaye for the link.. this really is very useful.. saka super expert ka na ata na mommy..^^

@Mommy Si Daddy: I'm a first time mom palang hehe. But through different parenting forums and being almost a 19-month mom to my son marami na din akong natutuhan. and because of that gusto ko din magshare ng mga konti kong nalalaman  ;)

un sa squash, normal reaction lang un kasi un texture niya is magaspang kaya parang di niya type. you can feed your baby pa din it doesn't mean kasi na pag parang iluluwa niya e ayaw na niya. nasanay ang mga dila ng baby sa soft and liquid that is why pag may kakaibang texture silang kinakain parang iluluwa nila or minsan parang kinikilig pa ang reaction. tama yang ginagawa mo daddy, super tiyaga ka kay baby a. your wife must be proud of you  :D

Just try several types of food and observe which one she likes. Trial and error. :)

Oh and there is a recent study that shows that babies who were weaned and allowed to eat finger foods were "slimmer" compared to babies that were fed pureed or mushy food: http://goo.gl/8n3Oy

That being said, you might want to feed your baby soft food (to prevent chocking) like bread and certain fruits and vegetables. Yun lang, for protein, I think you have to puree that talaga unless super lambot na it melts in your mouth type. :)
