My yaya's salary is PhP2500.00 per month. Pero per cut off ng sweldo namin ni hubby ako nagbibigay para hindi mabigat samin and may pera namang hawak si yaya every week. Pag off ko naman sa work tinutulungan ko naman siya sa pag aalaga kay baby. Once a month lang din siya nag r rest day or kung wala naman akong ginagawa and hindi ako pagod pag RD ko pinapayagan ko siyang mamasyal kung san niya gusto.

Hi,

I now have 2 yaya's (3 na kasi kids ko).

Yaya 1 has been with us since manganak ako sa first born ko (almost 10 years ago).

Yaya 2, this is quite complicated. Will only increase to 2,500 kapag naka 6 months na siya.  Totally no experience kasi.

Except for personal things like soap, shampoo, toothbrush & napkin, lahat sa amin na.  free din sila to go on day off during the weekends but di naman din nila ina-avail (gastos din siguro sa kanila).

with my yaya, hindi namin sinasagot, we just gave her extra cash pag uwi niya, kasi di lang naman kami nagbibigay ng extra to her pati MIL/FIL ko, so I guess bawi na din niya pamasahe niya from that..

with our yaya, P2500.00 sahod niya plus sagot namin  yung SSS prem. contribution niya. Libre na rin sya s lahat ,maliban s sanitary napkin..sagot namin yung pamasahe niya pag nagbakasyon, once a year lang naman siya nagbabakasyon s Visayas. Pag nag day off sya, binigyan namin siya allowance. Once a month day off niya, pero pwede siya mag day off pag kailangan like my importante sya lakad.

So sa ngaun her monthly salary ei 4,000/monthly. About financial  issues wala kaming problema kasi i know since childhood namin at super close kami.

Happy naman kami ngaun ni hubby kasi we know na my daughter is in good hands talaga. :)

i think i have a great yaya..

i initially paid her 1500 (probinsya naman kami) and she goes home everyday (as in sa labas lang ng gate namin nakatira. she has been with me since two months before i gave birth pa (para get the feel kaagad kung magkakasundo kami or hindi). she was recommended by my labandera before. she is actually all around (kasi naman studio type lang ang tinitirhan ko), except she doesnt have to cook kasi somebody else provides our meals, pero she is a good cook ha, as in pang party ang dating. she also used to wash only my daughter's stuff kasi i had a seprate labandera (pero when my labandera left, sya na rin naglalaba sakin, separate pay of 600). pero i gave her philhealth kaagad immediately when i realized okay sya (kasi naman inisip ko rin na if she gets sick or yung anak niya, sakin din sya uutang so better na meron nang pangbawas sa bill).

so anyway, after a year i increased her salary na to 2000 + pa rin the philhealth. pero when i had to study sa manila for three months and lahat kami nagmove sa manila temporarily, i gave her 3000 a month.

i also give my yaya yung 13th month pay plus a very puno food basket para meron sila pang handa for christmas. i also give her pang enroll sa anak niya (only son na 7yo na ngayon, studying sa public school). kapag may extras i give her extras naman like 500  . kung birthday niya or ng anak niya i also give her extra na 500 or 1000 (depende kung may pera). i also give her extra kapag graduation or recognition ng anak niya para naman pwede sila kahit mag jollibee man lang. (i remember the first year we were together and it was her birthday, i gave her a cake. nagulat sya and was afraid to accept... first time niya raw kasi sa life niya na meron sya cake sa birthday niya. since then i endeavored to always try to make her experience new things --- like when we went to baguio... sinama namin sya, all expense paid with pocket money pa... plus meron sya laging solo pictures sa mga sites and i had all of them developed... hehe)

anyway, i also taught my daughter to call her tita (and sometimes mama pa nga tawag niya ---  nagagaya dun sa anak), and i call her Beng.. we are the same age naman (older pa sya ng ilang months.)

good idea about the SSS by the way... if i can find it in my budget, maybe ill get her SSS na rin lang din...

hope di masyado magulo kwento ko..  ;D

Update lang, as expected, yaya 2 left us na, 2 months ago... nag tanan, nag paalam na magover the weekend, di na bumalik! Meron na kaming nakuhang kapalit after 1 week, but 2,500 and salary niya... laba at alaga lang kay bunso... ang masama, alagain din siya ni yaya 1 kasi 16 yrs old lang at addict sa TV & texting! haaay...

naku same with our 2nd yaya, bata pa din kasi, puro texting lang and layas ang ginagawa, She only cleans the house , once she's done di mo na siya ma-expect na tumulong kay yaya#1 nakakainis, at nalaman ko pa pati paglalaba si yaya#1 ko na din ang gumagawa and di rin maasahan sa mga kids ko. kaya what's the point of getting her pa, currently she's still with us pero naghahanap na din kami ng kapalit, eto pa before she learned na nagpapahanap na kami ng replacement niya, sabi ni yaya#1, di raw siya aalis kasi masarap ang buhay niya sa amin..

My baby nikka's yaya is only 19 years old and prob ko din texting.. but i like her better than the previous one kasi as in walang care sa baby ko.. at mukha pang burara sa sarili niya.. I pay her 3k a month. wala pang benefits kasi she just started about a month ago. Dati ciang all around maid but i turned her into a dedicated yaya to nikka when my favorite yaya of nikka left =( kasi di nakasundo mom ko.. super sayang kasi she was the perfect one for me and nikka.. she knows how to make my baby laugh and sobrang kasundo ko cia... kaya lang di na cia pwede bumalik samin... hayyyyyyyyy... newei yung recent yaya naman mallinis and mabait kay nikka and to me.. and she knows what she's doing.. nadididstract nga lang sa text minsan pero pwede na rin...

naku talaga, nakakainis noh!
