hi mommy! prescribed ba ni pedia yung gamot? then thrust her, for sure safe naman yun. malala ba ubo ni baby? kasi sa baby ko, supposedly bibigyan sya ng antibiotic din ng pedia ko when i told her na may ubo with pleghm at nilagnat sya. well that's what she said in our over the phone consultation (good enough ok ang ganun sa pedia ko ;D). but since nilagnat, she preferred to have an actual check kay baby. but then di naman daw malala, allerkid (for 7 days) lang ang binigay plus vitamin c. ask your pedia vitamin c also, that helps a lot sa immune system niya. hope your baby's gonna be ok soon. my baby, after 3 days of cough and on-off slight fever, magaling na. mommy konting ingat lang kay baby with our weather now, lalo pa 3 months pa lang ang iyo, still developing pa immune system niya and physical anatomy. so takot ako magkasakit baby ko, infact its her first time na sick sya, in her 6th month.

i see, akala ko 3 months... so puro sa ubo at sipon prescribe ng pedia mo? wala sya any vitamins? i suggest humingi ka ng vitamin, important yun sa kiddo mo. yeah, dapat spoon na nga sya, actually minsan sa spoon namin pinapainom baby ko, at 6 months, kasi mas type niya yung spoon, feeling niya food yung isusubo sa kanya kasi. :D

regarding sa consultation, i can say na maswerte lang ako na pumapayag sa ganun ang pedia ko. as far as i know, style na din kasi ng doctors yung sabihing dalhin ang baby sa clinic nila para ma-check para syempre may PF sila. pero kung sa phone lang, pro bono na yun. kaya thankful ako sa kanya. :D

Hi sis.. welcome to SP.

I would like to ask if gamit ba talaga ang nebulizer for my child's cough. He is 9 mos old and first time nagkaubo. Kawawa nga siya ngayon but went to the pedia already kaso with his dad kase I was working. The pedia recommended the nebulizer sana but wala pa kami nun. so I want to get your suggestions and experience if this is helpful. Wala naman asthma si baby or signs like "halak".

our nearly 3 year old daughter first used the nebulizer last saturday.

it was advised by the doctor since hirap nga siya huminga. sobra vomit with phlegm. it did help her breathe and helped her sleep more soundly.

as it was your baby's pedia who recommended the use of the nebulizer, then based on the pedia's findings, di lang basta cough siguro what your baby is experiencing.

as moms here posted, nebulizer use is not recommended for simple cough only.
