^ my previous pedia ganyan din. If i have questions, call her secretary daw, even if emergency. Si dr chen gives her mobile number. Call if it's an emergency, otherwise send a text. She responds quickly naman.

I have a friend who's a believer of natural meds also. Her son is almost 3 ang when he has cough, she gives him boiron chestal honey syrup. So i guess honey is good nga.

Our next pedia visit is not until feb. a few of my friends have switched to dr chen na din.

ok lang po ba mga mommies to still give vitamins sa 3 year old son ko even may ubo at sipon siya and also taking medicine for it. sabi kasi nung friend ko hindi daw eefect yung mga gamot.yun daw sabi ng pedia niya.sabi naman ng pedia ko ok lang daw. sa inyo mga mommies did you still gave vitamins to your kid even may ubo o sipon sila?..

Sa akin sis, stop muna vitamins advise din ng pedia kasi walang effect daw. Siguro medicines muna until mawala yung sakit then vitamins na uli.

iba yung gamit namin sa house hindi siya nebulizer it's called babyhaler available at Mercury drug stores. Sabi ng pedia ko mas maganda yung babyhaler compared to nebulizer kasi pag nag neb yung gamot hindi naman totally na- absorb unlike yung sa babyhaler kahit 2 spray ng ventolin andun yung gamot sa system ni baby. i noticed nga na mas effective yung babyhaler

All of my kids need nebulizer every time they have cough and colds... Lahat kasi kami may hika... including me...
Ang nebulizer naman - not necessarily for those with asthma lang but whenever matindi and may phlegm ang cough.

The nebules kasi would help release the phlegm and palambutin sila para mailabas and there are nebules also na may antibiotic... Pero if hindi naman matindi... NSS lang ang gamit or minsan yung salinase...

I will be buying a steamer also, effective siya specially kapag barado ang ilong ng mga kids ko and kapag may lagnat...
Maganda to have a nebulizer and a steamer also... para well prepared tayo...

hello mga mother!.

my sons cough was gone after tking medicine in 8 days but on that day na notice ko parang nag we-wheeze. yun bang parang nag sno-snore siya though hindi naman parati. i give him solmux broncho for his cough. on that day din kasi  hindi ko namalayan na naglalaro pala siya ng cemento. yun pa talaga na nasa sako pa. binutasan niya yung sako at nagbabad sa pool for almost 3 hours. naisip ko baka yun ang dahilan bakit siya parang nag we-wheeze...bukas balik kami sa pedia niya.hay naku hirap talaga pag mayskit anak natin. nakaka paranoid!..

i think its normal... my 2 month old baby is wheezing. dont be paranoid mommy, you just need prevention.. pero alam mo mas ok kung makapag laro freely ang bata, minsan mas ok maglaro kasama ka para gayahin ka niya... a child wont be normal if he does not get sick right? if someone is blaming you because of your child's sickness, then thank them. then positively accept that you have done every good things your child needs under your limitation..lahat tayo super mom!!! be confident. confidence is the key and your child will acquire that too.

dagdag ko na dn pala... if you have history of weak lungs in your family.. dont be surprised.. i am a carrier of lung asthma, skin asthma,, at lahat na ata ng asthma sa mundo hehe kaya d ko na inaalala kung isang araw ee may asthma ang anak ko.. prevention is better pero we all have limitation, we cant build a baby proof world. always cuddle and find a conversation to your baby, for me its the best medicine a mom can give.

Sis, wala bang asthma son mo? Kasi baby ko pag nagwi-wheeze na, it means inaatake na siya ng asthma.Madalas it starts with cough followed by cold then wheezing na.

Basta marinig ko lang na ubuhin o sipunin si baby kahit first day pa lang ninenebulize ko na siya agad pero plain NSS lang, walang ventolin, I just add ventolin kapag asthma attack na as prescribed by his pedia tapos double the vitamin C + zinc intake niya plus text ako sa pedia niya kung anong cough medicine dapat ibigay. Pero kapag 1 week na may ubo pa rin si baby kahit nagtetake siya ng gamot, nebulize at vitamins, I bring him to his pedia kasi natatakot akong mauwi sa pneumonia, baka bumaba sa lower respiratory tract, baka need palitan yung cough med, mabuti ng sigurado.

Nebulizer really helps loosen the phlegm. Kaya ako kapag may ubo rin, nagnenebulizena rin.

Ganon ba? Kasi yung pedia ko naman kapag may cough and cold si baby, she's advising to double the dose of vit C. Pati vitamin C din ba bawal o multivit lang?

mommies!!! pls helpop me what to do,, my bbay boy 1yr old 8 mons buwan biwan may ubot sipon minsan may lagnat..kumpleto naman sa vaccine sya,, mataba po sya 18 kls po sya,nakaka depressed po talaga kasi work ko affected din kasi umaabsent talaga po ako. kaya minasn napapagalitan na ako sa office lage daw may sakit anak ko.. ano gagawin ko nanay ako at kailngan ako ng anak ko pag may sakit sya

Sis,napagdaanan ko na din yan..Kaya nga ginive up ko dati yung magndang work ko kasi nga di nila mainitindihan kung bakit ako nakaleave.

Anong advised sayo ng pedia mo sis...Kasi di naman assurance na porket mataba nag bata, ala na itong sakit o di na ito prone sa pagkakasakit...Dapat ask mo pedia mo kung ano ang magandang gawin..Kung sa tingin mo e hindi ka naman nasasagot ng tama, e time na siguro na maghanap ka ng ibang pedia..

Dapat alamin mo din kung bakit lagi syang nagkakasipon at ubo..Baka mamaya nyan, may allergic rhinitis na sy o iba pang sakit....Dapat kumpleto din sya sa vitamin sis which I believe, naibibigay mo naman..

basta sis, si pedia mo lang makakasagot nyan..Mahirap kasi kung mapabayaan ubo..Maraming consequences...Update mo lang kami kung ano progress ng baby mo...

naku ganyan din baby ko sis monthly meron, pero sa dami ng pedia na napuntahan ko, puro antibiotic bigay, nakita ko sa kabilang forum (FN) si dra sandejas (Allergiologist-immunologist) at sya lang ang hindi nagbigay ng antibiotic sa baby ko. need mo din kasi malaman sis kung ano ang causes ng monthly na ubo at sipon niya. if you want sis text me for dra sandejas details 09081525520. now may ubo ang baby ko dahil sa nagdaang new year at grabe talaga ang usok dito sa amin na halos lahat ng nakatira sa compound may ubo at trangkaso. pero hindi na ako nababahala dahil may gamot na bigay si dra sa baby ko at ok naman sya doon
