when I gave birth sa first baby ko we paid mga 40K sa hospital bills less 8K na philhealth separate yung payment namin for the OB and Anesthesiologist wala na kaming deduction sa philhealth sa PH nila kc we ask for a discount then no receipt anymore. all in all we spend mga 105 for emergency CS and staying for 5 days in the hospital.

Sis, puwede parin mag claim yung sister mo kahit resigned niya sya. If OK sa company niya, before she will leave the company handa niya yung mga documents needed. Pa-sign niya na yung mga Philhealth claim forms tpos hingi sya nung certification for contribution niya kung wala pa syang MDR. As long as updated yung contribution niya hindi puwede mawala yung benefits niya.

Hope this helps...

Hello Mommy. :)

I already got my Philhealth reimbursement. I gave birth last June 11 then dumating sa bahay yun check last September. Eksakto nga kasi I was planning to follow it up kasi sabi after 3 to 4 months. Buti na lang after exactly 3 months, I got it na. Hindi ko kasi pina-less sa hospital bill ko yun makukuha ko sa Philhealth nun. May advise kasi sa akin friend ko na mas okay kapag nag-claim ka afetr with all the receipts. Kasi pwede mo pa i-attach yun receipts ng expenses mo when you get out of the hospital. Like yun fees ng NBS ni baby, consultation fee namin 1 week after, medicines ko, etc. naisama ko yun sa pag-claim. So okay yun naibalik sa akin. May breakdown naman sa Philhealth letter ng ibinayad nila sa hospital, sa OB mo, etc. Just make sure na properly filled up yun claim forms mo then walang magiging problem. Ako kasi nag-maternity leave so may signature ng employer ko yun claim form ko. But I think in your sister's case na resigned na sya or mag-reresign na, magsusubmit ng proof of regular contributions. Or medyo matatagalan kasi Philhealth will check pa her record, especially if naka-ilan na sya employers for example.

Visit their Website also. Hope I somehow helped you and your sister. :)

Ah yes sis one more thing, if wala pa MDR sister mo and if kaya pa naman niya na pumunta sa Philhealth then punta sya. Mas mabilis kasi kapag may MDR na sya. One sheet of paper lang yun. Then bibigyan na rin sya ng ID.

One day processing lang yun kapag pregnant. Special treatment. Ako nun after lunch pumunta tapos hindi na ako pinapila eh sobrang dami tao nun then inuna talaga yun papers ko. Tatanungin ka kasi when due date mo. Ako nun 8 months pregnant na so alam nila na rin that they need to process your MDR na agad. Natapos ako almost 3 pm. Kung sa iba sis na hindi pregnant or lalaki, days or even weeks hihintayin before makuha.

Basta okay naman ang Philhealth. Hindi nila pinasakit ang ulo ko. Hehe. Good luck sa delivery ng sister mo and God bless her and the baby. :)
