Hi sis nathzkimeme. I'm saddened to read about your status as a single mom pero be positive, at least nandiyan si baby!  :)

I might be late na in suggesting pero for reference na lang din you might want to try Dra. Flor Nucum. Sa Santolan, Pasig ang clinic niya, sa Patient's Choice (dun sa may McDo/Chowking). 300Php consultation niya, 400Php all in kapag may ultrasound. You can give birth din sa lying in niya para tipid (dun ko balak) or if you want sa hospital, pwede ang Salve Regina General Hospital along Marcos Highway. Doon ako nanganak sa three kids ko and maganda ang service nila, malinis din yung hospital saka friendly ang staff. Dra. Nucum can give you a package para mura, 40k is sapat na for NSD doon. God bless!  :)

gave birth last May 7 sa Medical City.

Thanks  :)

Nako nakatatak na ang Mission Hopsital sa buong angkan namen kase what happened 2 years ago, my niece was confined there due to Aspiration Pneumonia (daw). She was just a month old then. She underwent antibiotic therapy etc. She suffered from several intravenous insertions kase obviously the doctors were not sharp shooters when it comes to inserting IVs (swero).  Kawawa yung pamangkin ko. They didn't allow us to comfort her while trying to re-inset the IV many times (literal). Mga naka tig 2 trials sila on her both hands and feet. So mga 8 shots yun. Wala paren. So we decided to stop the tremendous re-insertions and opt for an oral medication instead. Kaso the doctor in charge wasn't there that time and not even answering her phone. Super tagal namen nag antay, mga half day pero wala paren. We then decided to transfer her into a MUCH better facility. We opted to transfer her in PHC (Philippine Heart Center--my sister works as a nurse here) para matignan siya ng isang Pedia expert. Akala namen everything will be okey na. Little did we know na there was no problem at all pala!. The pedia specialist in PHC said na wala palang prob yung pamangkin ko. Hay nga naman. NO REASON FOR CONFINEMENT.  ???

We also met few people na nagkaproblem sa Mission Hospital na yan. There was also a report re: that hospital and it was aired I think last year in XXX sa Channel 2.

Sorry for the long post---just had to share this one.

I recommend St. Christian Maternity Hospital, the one in Karangalan Pasig (malapit sa Magsaysay, Pasig). My doctor there is Dra. Rodriguez. Very helpful and caring at hindi ka niya huthutan ng pera unlike sa ibang hospitals. She qouted me 38k for CS - private room na yun for three days with Philhealth na rin while for Normal Delivery is 19k.

Hi Sis slv_am,

Ask ko lang, what yung first name ni Dr. Rodriguez, her schedule and contact number? Any landmark para mareach namin ni hubby yung St. Christian Maternity Hospital? yung 19k ba niya for NSD is without Philhealth pa?

Thanks in advance!  :)

Hi Sis Baby Rose,

My sister-in-law delivered their first child there (MIssion Hospital). She is in ward and a normal delivery. As I remember, nasa around 20K. That is 2009 pa ah...

Hello sis! Look for Dra. Mayflor Rodriguez - schedule ko sa kanya is every Monday 4pm to 6pm. May Saturdays din siya at 10am. You may contact the clinic at 6828751para sa mas accurate clinic hours aside from what I gave you. :)

Typo error: Name of Hospital is ST. CHRISTIANA MATERNITY CLINIC. Dati siyang lying in pero pina-upgrade ni Dra. Mayflor Rodriguez. For any tests (urinalysis, CBC, etc.) they have it as well and yung complete package for the tests is only 700 (or 750pesos). Ultrasound naman will cost you 250php (or 300pesos) ata. Not sure na kasi two months ago pa yung last ultrasound ko. Then her check up fee is only 250pesos. She accepts Maxicare and Cocolife HMOs. Marami rin siyang patient and she was also associated with Salve Regina. She qouted me 40k = that's with Philhealth na for CS (three days stay, private room) with ligation na rin yan. Madali siya kausap and pakikinggan niya requests mo.
