^^ waw! talagang committed sa cloth diapers! ako 3 months lang. nawala kase helper ko, ang hirap maglaba. u can do it ecosupermom!  i think the quantity of lampin swould also depend on how often u intend to was them. 2-3 dozens would do siguro.

I agree with foxylady. Super-duper tipid ng cloth diapers.  And it's nice to know we're helping the environment pa!  I'm really happy that Filipinos are starting to discover modern cloth diapering!  Usong-uso na 'to sa ibang bansa (US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia) and finally Pinoys are also discovering it!

I'm happy to announce that due to popular demand, the Pinoy Baby Store is also going to start selling a one-size diaper in a few months.  We'll be carrying the Wahmies one-size diaper.  Hintayin nyo lang yung announcement; I'm just finalizing shipping details.  Wahmies has a reputation for being the best-fitting one-size diaper for newborns.  (Kasi raw yung mga ibang one-size diaper, medyo maluwag pa for newborns!)

For products that are already in stock right now, check out our store.  Bestseller pa rin namin yung Thirsties diaper covers because you can use them with lampin which are the cheapest to use and easiest to launder. I'm glad you like the Thirsties diaper covers, mattigelix.  :)
hello mommy! new mom here...okay pala talaga cloth diaper for baby especially sa umaga, pero di ko alam paano maglagay=( tsaka may mga mura na brand ba ng diaper covers?

I want to use cloth diaper for my baby. Ayoko disposables kasi hindi earth friendly. It will take 500 years para matunaw ang ganon. I want a healthy and clean environment for my baby habang lumalaki sya. at least nakakabawas ako sa pagkasira ng nature at hindi pa magkaka-rashes baby ko. bahala na kung ilang beses pa sya palitan ng lampin, part of being a mom yan e, sakripisyo! Nung bata naman ako lampin lang gamit ko. sana may campaign for the use of cloth diapers!

mabuhay ang lampin! ;D

ako rin, i'm gearing towards using lampin for my soon-to-be baby girl. i've already bought some diaper covers and lampins. sana lang matutunan ko ang tamang pagkabit!  ;D

pero just like what some parents do, during night time and lalabas kami, i will prefer to use disposable diapers para hindi disturbed ang tulog ni baby and hindi naman hassle magpalit sa labas.  ;)

how many cloth diapers should i buy?
« Reply #37 on: August 02, 2010, 01:36:56 am »

hi mommies, im a first time mom and i know na marami sa inyo nagrrecommend to use lampins instead of diapers..one, it's cheaper. Two, hindi masyado magddiaper rash. Question ko lang, ideally how many pcs should i buy kaya? So far, i have 18 already. My bestfriend said, she has 48 pcs since minsan 10-12 times siya nagpapalit in a day and she's also using diaper pa nun ha.

And another thing, ano pagkakaiba ng gauze sa regular cloth diaper o lampin kasi i saw sa baby co. website may separate pcs. What's the difference ba?

Thanksies!

Hi sis..

gauze kasi mas malaki ang butas than regular cloth. May mga cloth diaper na gauze weave, or parang gauze yung pagkakagawa. I assume mas breathable kasi dahil nga gauze yung weaving.

I suggest you consider yung pockets style talaga. :) Tried and tested na yan for me.

mommy sweetpea ang gauze diaper daw po absorbent and breathable, habang tumatagal kakalaba mo nung gauze diaper mas lalo siya nagiging absorbent. meron naman yung birdseye diaper pag heavy wetter na si baby or pang nighttime maganda raw po gamitin yun.

ideally ang newborns daw po needs 12-15 diaper changes per day for the first three weeks. it depends din po kung part time ka lang gagamit ng cloth diaper or full time cloth diaper talaga. recommended usually kung full time cloth diaper user is 2-3dozen. and it depends also kung ilang beses ka maglalaba ng lampin ni baby.

i'll post po sis yung link ng site about cloth diapers like kung ano yung mga different kinds of cloth diapers and how many diapers kailangan para may idea ka po.

Hi sis mixxotrophic,

Ako kase I bought 3 dozens of cloth diapers. We used diapers for baby pero every morning before taking a bath naka-lampin lang si baby..
I even sew his initials dun sa lampin, hehe old school diba?   ;D
