Mga mommies help! Gusto ko din mag cloth diaper. Meron nako 1 dozen of chino pino prefolds and 1 dozen of chino pino cloth diapers and gusto ko sana bumili ng thirsties diaper cover. How many should I buy? Pag gabi lang ako magdiaper or pag aalis kami. Pero pag umaga or pag nasa bahay lang, gusto ko mag cloth diaper si baby.  I am also thinking of buying cloth diapers yung my inserts or yung one size na lang para makatipid.  Ano yung pwede nyo marecommend? TIA  :D

we've been using chino pino cloth diapers for almost 8 months now..since baby was born. We have 30 pcs of those and we pad it with folded bird's eye cloth diaper to make it thicker and last longer between changes. We also use nappy liner, the ones that are like tissue paper to catch the poop. Those 30 pieces are good for 3x a week washing - meaning we wash every other day. We just soak the soiled ones.

For me, no need to buy fancy and branded cloth diapers na may insert. yung chino pino is sulit, easy to wash and dry quickly. The only concern is the fit which has to be improved by the maker, but you can live with it. My baby has been fine ever since. We also have 3 diaper covers, the generic ones lang din but not the plastic type. They're waterproof clothelike material but we seldom use them. We only use disposables at night, too.

« Reply #79 on: March 02, 2011, 07:59:37 pm »

hi mommies. im a soon to be mom. my due date is on April 29.. and one of my major concerns na knasasakit talaga ng ulo q is yung DIAPERS.

i have seen several types of diapers online with different features for each.
- WATER PROOF,BREATHABLE, DIAPER COVER, DISPOSABLE, RE-USABLE, ALL IN ONE, CUSTOMIZED and all that...

sobrang confused na ako. i don't know which to buy. please help. ito lang naman gusto q

leak proof
changeable insert
colored yung panlabas or customized - pra cute pag suot ni baby outdoors
adjustable sizes - pra tipid gamitin from newborn to 1 yr. old maybe.

please recommend shops where i can buy. kahit anong brand. kahit magkano. mtanggal lang stress ko.
thanks mommies!!!! hehe

Same questions as Sis PRETTYNPINK! I want to start cloth diapering my baby when he's 4-5 months old na. :)

I am eyeing to buy Happy Heinys 'coz I'm scared to just use plain lampin without covers.

How Many Diapers do we need if we are using cloth diapers ?
Suitable to be used during night time (approximately 10pm - 7 am) with 2 inserts. But it may varies to your baby`s frequency of urination.

First of all you need to determine how often you will be doing laundry.

With that in mind, here are some reasonable estimates about cloth diapers you will need:
Newborn to 4 months - 20 - 24 diapers
Infant (4 to 10 months) - 16 - 20 diapers
Toddler (10 months to potty training) - 12 - 16 diapers

Please note quantities are based on an average sized baby and if you wash every other day. More diapers will be needed if you go longer between washings.

If you are using disposable side by side, you may purchase half of the estimate.
I love using the Babyland sponge bob cloth diaper for my lil boy,, everyone is bubbly about it!
you can purchase it here @ AFFORDABLE PRICE. No need to invest more than other brands
