Nung preggy pako, I tried Palmer's, kaso I was allergic to it so I stopped. I forgot yung tawag. I was so happy dahil akala ko hindi ako magkakaron, yung pala nung mga 7-8mos na tummy ko, ayun naglabasan na. :/

BUT, share ko lang 'to mga mommies:

When I was pregnant, my Ob often said I was lucky because I was already on my 7th month but still wala ako stretchmark but then, nakita nila na masyado daw maliit yung baby ko kaya binigyan nila ko ng vitamins to gain weight. In 2 weeks, I gained the 14 pounds I needed to meet the required weight. :D

i'm 3 months pregnant.. i'm currently using mustela stretchmarks double action and HHN sunflower oil. I use mustela twice a day and sunflower oil in between. Hopefully *fingers crossed* hindi ako magka stretchies or kahet man lang papano, maminimize yung lalabas na stretchies.

I got the mustela sa g4 for Php 2170

Hello Misispee! I saw this brand at Megamall. Was interested in the product but...too pricey for me:P
If it does work though, I will surely buy it!

hi motherdearest i saw sa other forum kasi na yung pang post-pregnancy na product nila for stretchies works. almost all of those who posted had a good feedback about it. They have 2 products for it, one yung for prevention (that's the one that I got) tapos isa yung after naman. I'm hoping it will work for me. I'm willing to try everything that is safe for me and my baby.

Btw, I also heard from Dr. Belo date that Clarins Anti-Eau Body treatment oil also works.  Medyo pricey nga lang din.

question: i'm 6 months pregnant and I have some stretchmarks na the red/brown marks. Pag  ba ginamitan ko yun ng mustela (yung for exisiting stretchmarks) or clarins oil, mag lilighten na din siya? or better to wait till after I give birth? btw, I started using mustela (yung for prevention) when I was on my 3rd month pero nagkaron pa rin ako :(

Tried and tested.

yup, sabi nga nila if your mom has stretch marks, chances are you'll have stretch marks din.. saken 3 months palang tummy ko nun nakakaloka na sa balakang ko, pati sa boobs ko, ang iitim pa naman, then nung malapit na ko manganak saka na lumabas sa tyan ko mismo.. yung kamot di naman totoo yun eh, kasi kaya nga stretch mark eh,nabanat balat naten,I gained so much weight then.saka kahit yung mga nagwe'weight lift may mga stretch marks din. well, sa mom ko,nawala na mga stretch marks niya, saka natatandaan ko bata pa ko, mapuputi mga strech marks niya kaya di halata.. eh bat saken ngayon maiitim, nakakatakot.. ;D sana mawala pa to.. :-\

Current problem ko din ang stretch marks. :( When I was preggy as in walang signs, cocoa butter nilalagay ko. So I was very happy. Up until days after ko manganak wala pa rin signs. Kaso after a week, ayun na! Ang dami na niya.. :( I'm starting to loose weight ngaun, so mas nagiging obvious yung marks sa tummy ko. Sabi ng OB ko, nasa type daw ng skin talaga if magkakaroon ka or hindi. Unfortunately, yung skin type ko is prone to marks. :( I'm currently using HHN sunflower oil. Sana maging effective.

hello mommies.  :)
Never po ako nagka-stretchmarks during and after pregnancy... dunno, never din kasi ako tumaba kahit konti during and after pregnancy rin at hindi masyado lumaki belly ko when i gave birth. i think i'll be forever slim. a freak of nature.
anyway,

^just last night, my husband was looking at my tummy while our baby kicks, then suddenly, he said "ay miel, meron ka nang stretchmarks!" while smiling. Adik lang... ^__^
at ang maganda e whatever changes happen to our bodies, andyan pa rin ang mga husband naten diba, loving and supporting us all the way. :)
