Pag nag maternity leave po ba e makaka tanggap ka pa rin ng sweldo from the company na pinag ta-trabahuan mo? or yung sa SSS lang talaga ang matatanggap mo for that 2 months na naka leave ka? Thanks

halu momi Helena, in my case naman po. nung nag maternity leave ako, i received the my whole month salary per month ng leave ko. this is the policy sa company namin. our company is the one who re-imbursed na lang from SSS. by the way yung monthly salary ko is more than that of the expected SSS maternity benefit amount. parang bonus ng company to the employees who gave birth.

I received my monthly salary nung 2 months na naka maternity leave ako but no more SSS benefits na.

The benefits really depend sa company mo...

In my case, I received in advance the SSS maternity benefit before i took my leave then I still received the monthly salary while I was on leave. Sis, prerogative kc ng company yung benefits pero yung SSS madatory un as contributing member.

Sa akin naman, nakatanggap ako ng SSS maternity benefit and aside from that while im on two months leave, i still received my monthly salary. Depende nga yun sa benefits na provided ng company nyo. Some companies, aside from SSS, they give two months pay pa..Other companies naman, they give you SSS benefit and no two months pay. You need to ask your HR sis to confirm kung makakatanggap ka pa ng 2 months pay..

ang swerte namang nang ibang mommy dito.  ako kasi SSS lang din...sobrang sumusunod kami sa labor code eh...so depende talaga sa company kung bibigay yung sweldo for 2 months other than sa SSS Maternity benefit.

Naku kahit sa Labor Code sinasabi na may pay ka pa din kahit naka ML ka on the following conditions.

Art. 133. Maternity leave benefits.

   1. Every employer shall grant to any pregnant woman employee who has rendered an aggregate service of at least six (6) months for the last twelve (12) months, maternity leave of at least two (2) weeks prior to the expected date of delivery and another four (4) weeks after normal delivery or abortion with full pay based on her regular or average weekly wages. The employer may require from any woman employee applying for maternity leave the production of a medical certificate stating that delivery will probably take place within two weeks.
       
   2. The maternity leave shall be extended without pay on account of illness medically certified to arise out of the pregnancy, delivery, abortion or miscarriage, which renders the woman unfit for work, unless she has earned unused leave credits from which such extended leave may be charged.
       
   3. The maternity leave provided in this Article shall be paid by the employer only for the first four (4) deliveries by a woman employee after the effectivity of this Code.

sa kin din stop an pay at bonuses during ML sa company n pngweworkan ko. resume n ln pg bak to work na. so an nkuha ko n maternity benefits are: SSS, Medicard, and Philhealth benefits (un deductions s hosp bill) :)

In my case naman, SSS lang din natanggap ko..In other companies, like big companies, binibigay parin nila ang sweldo ng employee nilang nag mat leave..parang discretion na nila yun or kung nasa policy ba ng company nila kung ibibigay ba ang sweldo or hinde..pero ayon nga talaga sa batas natin,dapat meron..

I think if nasa labor code dapat implemented sa lahat ng companies. Let me consult a friend regarding this. I'll get back to you all.

ako po due sa Dec. 15, 2008..July pa lang po, nag-clarify na ako sa HR namin..

*makukuha ko po ang aking SSS maternity benefit 1 mo. bago delivery
*sa 2mos. akong naka-ML babayaran pa rin ako ng salary ko from the company, syempre di ako qualified sa mga monthly incentive pero qualified ako sa quarterly bonus

sa previous company ko, SSS mat. benefit lang nakuha ko at syempre yung philhealth na binawas sa hospital bills.

ewan ko nga ba kung bakit, iba-iba. ang SSS mat. benefit eh hulog natin un from previous yr pa, so dapat may sweldo pa rin dahil compensation un from the company.
