a month before my due date

I started my ML on the day that I gave birth (Mon).  Midshift kasi ako sa work and before noon during my checkup my OB told me that I'm 2cm.  I asked my superior that I'll be working from home na lang kasi pwede na akong manganak within the week.  Ayun nung magstart na sana ako ng work from home, me bloody show na ako and when I called my OB she asked me na magpaadmit na sa hospital.  8:26pm of that day nanganak na ako.

filed ML on October 19th.. leave lang sana kaso nung mga gabi may bloddy show na.. gave birth the next day.. October 20 at around 11:24pm.. humabol pa sa date.. usapan kasi namin ni baby yun.. sumunod naman:)hehe:)

i plan to take my ML by 1st week of December. Full term na ako next week, pero Dec16 pa due date ko. at least i'll have time to rest daw according to hubby. but i'm thinking if i'll take my ML that early since. hindi naman ako high risk. baka mabore lang din kace ako at home e.

planning to take it on my 38th week, which will fall on the first week of December. Though I'm thinking twice kace I'm not high risk naman, baka mabore lang ako sa bahay.

Dati gusto ko, a week or two before I give birth, magmamaternity leave na ako..when I asked my OB, sabi niya kung kaya ko pa naman daw pumasok, okay lang daw...mas maganda daw kasi na a day or two before manganak or on the day dun na lang magmamat leave, at least mas madami kang time to spend with your baby....

so sinunod ko naman siya, two days before ako manganak ako nagleave..and true enough, bitin nga ang two months...

i used first my 15 days SL so total 75 days ang leave ko, sept 15 start of my leave and i gave birth sept 29. when to ofc dec 01.

Hi mga mommies! Question lang po. If getting fully paid  while on ML is in the labor code, why there are many companies does not compensate their employee during their maternity leave and SSS benefit lang ang binibigay? in my case kc, I ask our HR yung SSS lang daw ang makukuha ko & hindi n babayaran yung 2 mos. ML ko. Pwede ko kaya impose that they should pay me as per labor code? By the way my expected delivery date is on Feb 17, 2010... Please help me sobrang confuse n kc ako.

pano kung nagresign kana sa company pwede mo pa ba icontinue yung maternity benefit"?? like yung 2 months pay na marerfeceived mo dapat katumbas ng 2 months shod from sss?

I am due on August 11 but I already filed for Maternity Leave on July 28. 2 weeks before my due date.

its been a year since i started this topic.. just wanted to share.. i took my ML ng May 15 of last year, then i gave birth ng May17.. nakakatuwa kasi sakto yung pagtake ko ng ML ko.. hehe

^mommy way_em, naaaliw ako kasi may 25, 2010 naman ang due date ko. di kaya may 17 din lumabas si baby. hihi...

2 weeks na kong nakatunganga dito sa house ng mom ko sa nueva ecija. bale, i took a break from work on my 34th week. ang aga nga e. ang dahilan ko naman ay dahil sa manila work ko at dito ako sa province manganganak. inagahan ko nang paguwi para matignan na ko ng OB ko dito.

wow mommy sakto ah!   ako due date ko aug5(based on LMP) last yr at aug8 based on U/S, nag-file ako ng leave aug3(w/c turned out to be my delivery date)... sakto rin sana di ba?   pero nagbago isip ko at inagahan ko ng 1wk.. kaya pa sana ng katawan ko at wala pa rin ako nararamdamang signs na malapit na ko manganak kaya lang na-stress ako sa ofc.. natakot ako mapa-anak bigla so pina-adjust ko na lang sa HR namin.. ayun 1wk ako naghintay sa paglabas ni baby   pero i would like to believe na naging advantage rin un for me, kasi nag-normal delivery ako... araw-araw ba naman ikutin ko yung subdivision namin, kung hindi bumaba agad si baby

me naman, I was supposed to have my ML after Aug.16 '08, My last day's supposed to be Aug.15, tapos off na and diretso na ML kaso napaaga naman, Aug.14 night time I was into labor na, kaya come morning of 15th nasa delivery room na ko, I wasn't able to call my boss, mahigpit pa naman sila sa absence nung time na yun kaya he even called my phone, I left it with hubby and thats how my boss learned na manganganak nako, napa-aga lang ako ng 1 day sa ML ko..

heloo mg a sis,, ask ko lang po at what week po kayo nag take ng maternity leave?? im currently on my 37th week and plan ko mag leave na next week,, kaso according to my last IE hindi pa me dilated at mataas pa tyan ko,, what do you guys think?? mag leave na kaya ako??
