How did you deliver your child? -- Types of Birth Delivery

NSD (Normal Spotaneous Delivery)
CS (Caesarian Delivery)
Forceps Delivery (Forceps - a tong-like instrument are placed on both sides of the baby’s head)
Episiotomy (A surgical cutting of the vagina opening to expedite birth and avoid tearing)
Vacuum Extraction (suction is applied to the baby’s head by means of a small cup attached to a pump)

Gusto ko lang mag-survey mommies kung ano yung common birth delivery nowadays. Pansin ko kasi mas marami ng CS?
 
Except for NSD, what's the reason kung bakit yun yung type of delivery niyo.  :)
 
By the way, NSD ako.
Have you heard of "unassisted childbirth or freebirth"?

Hi sis! na-CS ako kase di bumuka yung cervix ko. Ni-try ng OB ko na induced labor ako and we waited for 8 hours pero wala talaga. Di ako nakaramdam ng labor pains at di talaga bumuka yung cervix ko. Kaya ayun, I have no other choice kung hindi CS operation..

CS ako kasi tagal bumuka ng cervix ko. 29 hrs or more na ata ako nagle-labor pero nasa 6-7cm pa lang ako. Dinudugo na ako at mauubusan na ng tubig pero ang ulo ni baby hindi pa rin makapa. Tagal ng progress kahit binigyan na ako nung buscopan. Nung nilabas na si baby nalaman na short cord pala sya kaya hirap sya bumaba.

In my case, scheduled CS ako. During my check-up sa OB (4 days before my EDD), she found out thru ultrasound na naka-transverse lie baby ko. She said na delikado daw if hihintayin pa na mag-labor ako kaya she scheduled me for CS the following day.

mga sis ako naman kahapon galing ng OB ko..im 4cm na pero wala ako maramdaman na hilab pero super sakit ng pempem ko parang lahat ng bigat ni baby andun na kaya di ako masyado na makagalaw.halos ayaw nako pauwiin ng doktora ko pero nagpumilit pa din ako umuwi kc nga wala ako maramdaman..sabi niya pag di pa ako manganak ng monday medyo delikado na panu kaya kung wala pa din hilab baka ma CS din ako..

NSD po ako.. 2 weeks earlier to my EDD..
Epidural ako, may pain pa din naman PERO less.. hehe

3 na kids ko normal lahat...pero napansin ko sa 2 girls ako sobrang nahirapan,,sabi nila mas mahirap daw nga pag girl ang baby,,

have 3 kids and all NSD.. 

@ritz: baligtad tau sis saken kasi mag nahirapan ako sa 2 boys ko.. nawawala kasi yung hilab chaka mas matagal ako sa delivery room dun sa two boys ko..

hi all ... had the same case as mybhie06 and booxilak...
 
i wanted na NSD sana talaga kaya di talaga kinaya eh ... ang sad pa, super nakatulog ako kaya wala akong naala, nagising na lang ako when my OB said, "tapos na"

It was supposed to be Normal BUT when I was fully dilated mataas parin daw si baby and we tried pushing for 1.5hours and di parin bumababa - so naging CS na ako..
