parang guilty naman ako sa pill issue na yan? eh pano kaya ako di gagamit ng pills eh once a year lang umuwi si hubby at one month lang sya mag stay dito?di rin pwede sakin ang calendar method kasi irregular ako..malaking debate talaga ang RH bill na yan, just like other moms here, against abortion din ako at naniniwala ako na dapat talaga ay pinaplano ang pamilya..kung sa tingin natin ay di pa natin kaya mag anak ng marami, dapat tayo mag ingat. nasa ating mga magulang yun dahil walang kinalaman ang mga bata dito..ika nga, ginagawa lang sila hehe :) :) let'sm just wait and see kung ano magyari dito

well ako naman ive read the bill and i am supporting it.
Kasi first of all it is still anti-life. next i think education is important to us filipinos. we should also have the right to have an option of what we want to do sa buhay natin, and that includes also the opportunity to have a better quality of life.
contraceptives are not mandatory naman, pero i do agree na dapat may prescription ang pills kapag kailangan ito.
also reality din na may parents na hindi kayang maging open to talk about sex sa mga anak nila. i have talked to some of my friends and they say it's the most awkward thing to talk about as well. hindi lahat ng parents good channels of communication regarding the sex topic.

important na mainform for me ay yung mga underprivileged and basta yung mga mahihirap na hindi nagkaron ng opportunity magaral . hindi enough ang "sikap" to help out those na gustong buhaying yung napakarami nilang anak. naaawa ako sa mga batang hindi nabibigyan ng magandang buhay dahil lang sa misinformed parents nila na hindi nakapag-spacing. they do have the right na magkaron ng damit man lang na sarili nila, kahit pagkain na iba yung variety. some nga hindi nakakakain!

the enhanced bill 4244 is better, i just read today. i read the whole bill na 5043 and i do not see anything negative naman or makakasama sa society natin. that is of course, in my opinion.

i'm pro-RH bill for a better quality of life for us filipinos.

whether we have the bill signed into law, we still have a choice on what contraceptive methods we would us since we are still a free country.  abortion would still be illegal.  so what is everybody fretting for?!

what do the church really want?  to have the women abused physically by giving birth yearly?  how many children born out of poverty will they be able to feed and send to school?

I am pro. I just want every woman properly educated. What ever choice each woman make, at least informed choice yun.

Reviving this thread

Filipina Baby Brings World Population to 7 Billion
While majority of Filipinos are in favor of family planning, much needs to be done in order to properly educate them and make modern family planning methods available to them.

ANTI

I will not allow a bill that will promote the further killing of unborn babies (chemical abortion) and women (cancer, etc.) through the use of contraceptives!

Agents Classified by the IARC Monographs, Volumes 1–102
source: http://monographs.iarc.fr/ENG/Classification/index.php
Group 1Carcinogenic to humans 107 agents
Group 2A Probably carcinogenic to humans 59
Group 2B Possibly carcinogenic to humans 267
Group 3 Not classifiable as to its carcinogenicity to humans 508
Group 4 Probably not carcinogenic to humans 1

Agents Classified by the IARC Monographs, Volumes 1–102

CAS No |Agent Group |Volume       |Year
Estrogen-progestogen oral contraceptives (combined)
(NB: There is also convincing evidence in humans that
these agents confer a protective effect against cancer in
the endometrium and ovary)
172, 91,100A 2011
Oral contraceptives, combined estrogen-progestogen
(see Estrogen-progestogen oral contraceptives)
Progestogen-only contraceptives2B72 1999

Tamang ayusin natin at mas pondohan ang edukasyon.  Maraming kailangan ituro.

"I would like to point out to the President that he is ignoring the long-term consequences of distributing artificial contraceptives for free to the poor. There is enough hard evidence in other countries that followed the same path of population control, which shows that a contraceptive mentality inevitably leads to a significant rise in abortion, divorce, single mothers and mentally unbalanced adolescents."

I want people to be educated kaya pro ako. But I'm against abortion.
